Read the instructions how to apply it correctly.

On a second thought check to see if BF2 runs at high performance mode in AMD Vision CC. If its not then you're probably running on int graphics ( APU ). Thats bad, so select dedicated graphics which should be available in your laptop.

Edit:

Oops my bad. Just checked specs for your laptop and you dont have dedicated GPU. Also bad.

Amen.
So basically I'm fucked? This laptop is 100x faster than my old one and the old one played just fine until the APU died from something or other. This laptop stays under 70c full load. It doesn't overheat.

RacFuhk, go search out the program k10stat , make sure you read thoroughly, it is a program to overclock your APU, please be very careful when doing this, but be aware that usually if you do not increase the voltage, there is no way for k10stat overclocking to physically degrade your hardware,

i.e. you might try to OC to high for available stock voltage and it won't boot, but it won't hurt anything.

I am disappointed that your A8-4500M isn't able to run PR, I am looking to buy an APU notebook myself right now.

So Laptops do not have Dedicated GPU's then?

For some reason, I can play ARMA 2 on my dad's laptop no lag, no problem, he has a 7760g, A10 processor, 8gb ram. On High.

Yes they do, but they cost a lot more.

Try to run test on both laptops and see the difference. *

The issue isn't the APU. It's the crashes. I have a perfectly playable FPS at all times.

Oh right its not APU its the game that is broken. Then how come I never CTD or disconnect unless the server itself crashes?

You must inspect and look into all the possibilities. Cant just say hey its not that, its this.

Look at what Litoralis.nmd said.

How the fuck should I know? It's your guys' game. Not my fault it still crashes after trying every fix I've seen.

P.S. This laptop OC's itself when it feels it needs it (Ex. In game)

Right - O. Calm down. Im saying that Im not crashing and I dont have anything to do with the development, IM here to help you sort your shit out, and IM doing that for free.

Look at the logic - if my game never crashes, and yours is crashing way to often, then where the problem is? Is it me, game, or you and your PC.

There is no universal solution, as not every PC and systems are the same.

Especially making it difficult is because you run it on the integrated APU processing unit, which cant even be called a graphic card and uses shared memory. Thats a big trouble, not mentioning its a laptop which is not made for games to be played on it, especially the one you own. You can play vanilla game, ok thats fine, but with PR its not that easy.

Bottom line, try to cleanup your laptop, and remove PR, then remove BF2, clear everything you find from My Documents, and %localappdata%Roaming/Project Reality. Clear your registry with CC Cleaner or alike.

Reboot!

Follow the installation guide in support section to get you up and running. If it wont run after all this, then I dont know what else can be done.
