PR and PR2 are almost complete different teams, just sharing the name PR and having a very few PR1 devs onboard and an PR1 retired DEV being PR2 project lead. maybe comparable to treyarch and infinity ward at some point.

right, i understand that. im just talking about resources like faculty, money, time, etc. i simply would prefer to wait for a pr2 "syria" level than get a bf2 one now and not one for pr2.

Is there any plan on making a Hezbollah faction in the future? Obviously its not essential but it could offer a very interesting alternative faction on Syrian war maps. Only thing they need as far as i know is player models. On top of that they are the most bad-*** looking militant group in the middle east:

You could just rename Hamas.

I have no interest in making another faction after the Syrian Army myself. And I doubt we'll ever see a reason to make such a faction. But nobody says you can't start working on it yourself :)

90% (or maybe100%) of arabic countries are supporting Syrian rebels army

So I think MEC is not the right name
I suggest the name "Syrian Gov" because the reality is battle between the syrian government vs syrian rebels

MEC is only a Placeholder faction until we get the real Army Faction done. We cannot rename MEC as they are used on many non-syria related maps as well.

Will you give the FSA deployable ATGM and ATGM HAT in the future?

There is no real need for this really. It would be nice but it's not a priority right now :) But if a community texture artist is willing to work on then we'll sure implement it :)

Yeah, our initial plan for the FSA has the RPG-29 as alternative hat for them once the weapon is finished. Although this will probably need a better discussion as we have to see if it is balanced out right. Could also be done with pick-up kits. But for sure the FSA will see a ATGM in the future.

Deploy-able probably not though as I find the SPG already a very powerful tool.

Any news on the smoke for tanks/APCs? Will you implement the smoke that pours out of the tanks instead of grenades? :)

Hey Mineral, I don't know if I actually pitched the idea before but I think the Syrian Rebels should be replaced by Da3esh, since the 'FSA' is at this point not a cohesive force whilst Da3esh actually is an army.
