Some SL's (incl. CO's) need to do a radio communication training. It was just terrible, our CO was talking NON-STOP by pressing the SL-Chan button the ENTIRE ROUND as well as other SL's haven't understood the KISS (Keep it short and simple) principle. My ears are still bleeding.

We couldn't do our job properly and enjoying the round as SL was pretty hard. If some still don't know: by you can talk directly to a specific squad by just pressing the squad number on the numpad.

Apart from that I’ve to say even with a lot of players joined without knowing what’s going on you guys organized Saaremaa pretty well. Sadly the POW got killed in the beginning.

Thanks to DRK for organizing and thanks to KSK for knowing how to operate a radio ;-)

cheers,
Curry.

Ungalow Bungalow. Over.

I think these events are good for us. Not that many that runs scenario nights, I hope the radio discipline will be sorted, cuz these events seem like alot of fun!

Thanks again to Bluedrake (although he didn't sing for us these weekend) and other DRK admins for another one scenario event.
This weekend it was not that smooth like previous, our team got lack of experienced squad leaders (and also I'm sorry for being one bad SL on first scenario in RU team, but I guess I explained that to you, communicating through 2 different voice chats is quite tricky and I have small experience leading squads).
Second scenario on Saaremaa was almost perfect, even though our squad was doing a suicide missions all round long, we didn't manage to rescue POW, but we had two planned attacks which was looking just great (until we got killed by other team, lol).

By the way, Bluedrake, I think some quick guide should be posted here for newcomers, Saaremaa round showed that even people who knows the scenario, can ruin the plan pretty easily. I'm talking about trans heli pilots. Guys, I understand that you were doing your best, but if you are not 100% sure you are knowing that you will safely deliver teammates to combat zone then just don't fly on scenario event. Unlike usual PR rounds your failure on scenario is not just death and respawn of 1-7 teammates, it could ruin the whole plan involving dozens of others, so make sure you are perfect in what you are doing, otherwise join infantry and help others.
