What I want to know is if the model should be made separated then linked as a child object or it can be modeled directly on the vehicle.

Are we talking 1st or 3rd person? much easier to see with a pic, but pretty much float anything that is not going to Z-fight or use large amounts of UV space that will just be occluded.SShadowFox wrote:1 - The vehicle seats on the interior model, should be attached or welded to the model?
Yeah, you can use skin modifier and I think a bone or two to have it stretch, check out the French VAB or whatever the wheeled jeep is called, it has it on that. Leave that to the exporter though.2 - The UT-30 cannon used on the Guarani have an exposed ammo belt, how should he do it so when the cannon is moving the belt will respond accordingly? Is it even possible?
Model it all together in the same scene, dont weld it so the turret cant move though. Pretty much just dont weld anything that is going to move, rotate or be animated in anyway.3 - Should the turrets (the 30mm cannon and the .50 MG) be modeled separated and the attached via code to the body, or modeled directly on it?
