Thanks for the feedback. Im working on several issues on the model right now.
1. The roof is too high
2. SG problems on the corners of the front and on the hood
3. The rear of the cabin is littlebit thinner on the top of the rear
AND the front must be as you said shorter but that comes after the reconstruction of the front of the car.

Roger that robbo.
Sneak peek:
Made the front corners again so that it goes more smoothly. SG:s are easier to make and it helps texturing progress.

Awesome
TBH I don't know too much Snatch, strima I'm sure will know pretty much everything about them but here's what I know/understand, hopefully strima will correct me on any points that are incorrect
Basically there are two main types of Snatch that we need.
The "Snatch-1" which is the old version originally deployed to Iraq and early Afghanistan which has very little in the way of armour and is the basic model. Think the main visual difference is just that it doesn't have the Electronic IED Counter Measures on the front which are those two boxes you see sometimes.
Then the "Snatch-Vixen" which is the most recent version which has more armour, drivetrain enhancements for a higher GVW as well as a "300 Tdi" diesel engines and air conditioning and of course the Electronic IED Counter Measures.

So not sure what visual differences there really are between the two other than the ECM boxes but hopefully stimia might help there
Main thing is that each version has a little hole in the roof with, what I think bullet proof glass around it which one or two guys can turn out of and shoot their rifles out at targets as well as seating in the rear
Also need it in Right Hand Drive, hopefully shouldn't be too hard to convert your model to RHD, just mirror the interior setup and then mirror the UVs on parts like the dash board etc

My SNATCH in Afghan was called Dirty, because everyone loves a dirty snatch...
Visually, as Rhino pointed out, the bodies are very similar so no point going overboard. Internally on both there is a heavy black canvas/plastic screen between the drivers cab and the rear body, I'll try and dig out some photos.

hehe we will have to have "Dirty" written on a window or in the side out of the dirt on it like you would for "clean me"

Here`s the plan. I make the FDF Land Rover first and then i can start with these after that. Then we have UV maps what we can use to these LR:s.

i think 1 version per faction is enough so I'd say go with the FDF Land Rover and then we gonna discuss again which version we would choose for the british, though i think the most modern version would be the best

The two brit versions are visually more or less the same with a few additions to the modern version which can easily be removed and exported as a separate version, or alternatively added on as children but for draw call sake, better to export the two versions. If you know what your doing and you export all the versions together its very simple. The problem only comes when the different versions are not made or more importantly exported together.

Hm, judging from the refs, shouldnt the roof window be curved along with the roof? I think that the roof is round right from where it meets the side of the vehicle, including the area with the window. Right now in the model it goes at an angle and then goes round after the area with window.
Image says it better:
