For christ sake, WHY DOES EVERY F**KING GAME KEEP REVISITING THE WW2 ERA?!!?! HOW MANY TIMES DOES IT HAVE TO BE REMADE AND REWORKED BEFORE IT CAN BE LAID TO REST?!

It's not hard to research and is part of the history of almost every country in the world, different from this Afghan thing that people seem to like so much lately.

Because WW2 warfare is much more intense and cooler than shooting white spots on a grey screen.

You could say the exact same thing when it comes to modern warfare shooters.

The difference with regular PR is that new factions, weapons, vehicles, and maps keep being added that we haven't played or seen before and it slowly progresses into the future, yet the WW2 mod and other WW2 games keep revisiting the same places and points in time with the same weapons, same guns, vehicles, etc, that have already been used in literally hundreds of other games. Why should we keep putting resources toward a WW2 mod that's just going to go to the same places we've already been and use the same assets? It's illogical, and I think more resources should be dedicated to the main mod and the Arma3 mod instead of making more factions or "fronts" and other **** for an absurdly overplayed genre.

richyrich45, what resources are you personally putting into this minimod? I and numerous other community members, as well as AD, are putting our free time into this so that we can play it together. I am sorry if you feel offended by this.
Why do we do this? For the same reason PR itself is being made. You said there is hundreds of WW2 games. The same is the case with modern era wargames. But point us to one game that plays exactly the same as PR (or PR:WW2). I just havent found anything like this yet, that is why I have to try and make me one
