Nice to read your lag-problem has been fixed, but just as a side note, where I mentioned Phenom and your GPU too weak, sry on that, as I noticed the Phenom II X4 955 is a quite "okay" quad-core (although already 4 years old already), and your GPU is on this list on place 41. ,

in between the GeForce GTX 295 and 470, which are STILL quite powerful, in DirectX 9 games. (afaik, they just can't perform so well in DX 10 & 11, since they simply have too old architecture for it, meaning not "Kepler"-generation)

But they are far more than enough for PR BF2 ! ! (Although 8x AA might get hard and lower fps for the huge 4 m? PR maps and their 100 players... :/ )

Yeah, now I'm suffering from "normal" lag issues (it seems that the game became heavier with some patches released after 1.0) and from a problem that seems to be not exclusive to me: FPS drops when looking at certain directions. I think that with these issues I cannot, at least by now, deal with, since I would have to buy new hardware (to counter the heavier PR) and wait for a future patch (to counter the direction-dependent FPS drop). For now I'll try to play with lower settings to get around these issues in the ways within my reach.
