He'll be on Punksbusted MBL soon. Also a ticket has been opened with EA, and the evidence has been posted on bf2rs.com, bfroe.com, the totalbf2.com server owners forum and the BF2 Ranked Providers mailing list, which is read by the EA guys who ban accounts.

Yeah, I like how he was all "you guys just suck, I don't cheat". I would say that I thought he felt sorry about cheating judging from his posts on ECGN....EXCEPT for the fact that was such a smart *** about it before... if he said nothing before when he was accused, I might actually think he was sorry... but he's just a lying smart *** and will do it again. i would love if we would have a system like hl², its called vac or something like that, dont remember - but what differs between this and punkbuster is, that (lets call it) vac (for now) bans the serial key of the offender - so basically he would have to buy the game again to be able to still play online - pb afaik only bans the account, doesnt it?

you know what the must hilarious part is how these hackers brag about skill. It is not like they actually have any if they have to resort to hacking. I have been accused several times but I am proud of my scores when I do good because it is actually skill not hacking bullshit.

These things would turn me off entirely to that clan even though I am sure they dont all cheat.

PB bans to the HASH which is basically your CD Key.
some servers will haev hash finders for certain players so if you play as a different name from the same CD Key it will tell you all names that have played on your server from that one game.
Servers can ban by "user name", IP, or Hash.

EDIT: PB can also ban your systems hardware somehow. so you would need a new game and a new harddrive or video card or....

but back on topic, i think that banning some ones whole pc is a bit extra, i can understand the cdkey, servers the gits right but if they did that on a family pc it would be really crappy for any other family members that wanted to play.

I think it would be unfortunate for any one eles that is using that PC, however it is not like the offenders haven't been givin fair warning. i belive that this community should have a Zero tolorance to this sort of activity.

Besides that, if their family members LET them cheat then their neglect to support a non-cheat gameplay environment, in my mind, also warrents the ban.

If they didn't know, then it's also negligence on their part.

I really like the sound of that! I think when someone is found to be a HACKER of an online game. There should be an anti-cheat death squad sent to there house to take all there PC hardware and software. Then break there arms and legs. Hackers suck!!!! Even guys that use exploits in game SUCK just as much!!! Ok, maybe not just as much, but a close second Hardware banning sounds like a good idea to me!!!

So long as we have solid proof.
