In your profile/0001 there is no resolution given.

IF your display/computer screen (which is not even recognized by your computer, you may have to instal a driver, since PR also does not detect your screen & display resolutions, but PLS give us the exact model of your screen) supports Full HD resolution, you have to edit the video.con file in your Profile/0001 folder and add the line "1920x1080@60Hz"

BUT to be sure it is your monitor, first try "800x600@60Hz" or some similar low solution.

Looks like the Windows 7/Vista/Whatever version of Windows Nvidia Control Panel was in your link's example is different from my 8.1. I dunno. It's just missing a step that's important.
have you tried this yet? if not explain where you got lost

also Hi Lit

Can you post your DXDiag info.
Basically I want to know that some program, any program, can actually see your video card and monitor information.
from the desktop, by pressing Windows Key + R, typing dxdiag, then clicking OK.

Sorry for the delay, I caught a flu bug and have been out of it.

Let's try another idea:
Your windows user account doesn't have permissions to allow programs to alter files in your [USERNAmE]\Documents\ directory and subdirectory for PR, for some reason.

Are you running Windows on a User account with admin privileges?

Right click on Documents\ProjectReality , select Properties
Go to Security Tab
Make sure that Admins have Allow Checked on everything but Special Permission.
Click the Edit button to change it if needed.
Then click Apply.

Then try to alter the video.con files, make sure to save them, and then test PR.

It was already set up the way you want me to do it.

PLEASE go over my last post there again, I already mentioned there your screen isn't detected by your PC AT ALL, and on your two previous screenshot links (which you posted AFTER my post), it proves my point ONCE AGAIN. (2nd link gives: "Monitor: x " , not much information there... )

AGAIN: WHICH model and brand is your screen, you HAVE to let Windows let automatically find a driver online ! ! ! (Unless you got a CD with software with your screen and there is a driver on it)

Well, I fixed my own problem. Reinstalled the driver and it just kind of... changed. Even though it was up to date.
