Roll your computer date back to March 15 2014, update to 1.1.6.0, then put your date back to normal and all should work just fine.
If you get any other issues, all I can suggest is that you reinstall the latest full installer, v1.1.0.0, roll your date back, update, and put your date back to normal and it should work then.
If it still doesn't work, I have no idea what's up, because this issue does not occur on modern OS's (7, 8, 8.1, etc). All I can suggest then is make sure your system is completely up to date with all the critical and optional windows updates, and see if that helps at all.

You're on Vista, so you should install/reinstall .NET Framework 4.5.1
Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (Offline Installer) for Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 SP2 Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2012 from Official Microsoft Download Centre
For those on XP that "might" have the same issue, you can only go to .NET Framework 4.0, which is here
Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Centre

Cut the entire levels/test_airfield directory to somewhere else, like your desktop .@bsurd wrote:Got problem @ 96 % updating. levels/test_airfield/server.zip/sounddistances.com

Then update again.
When update is finished and verified,
you can then paste levels/test_airfield back in place.

Re: 20:Error validating file!!!! Help Please!
But he's not on 1.1.6.0 because he's getting this error.
Roll your computer clock back to March 15 2014. Launch PR, and it will offer an update. Update the game. Once the update is successful, change your computer clock back to the current date/time.
