The problem with knifing is the netcode... happened very often that stabbing doesn't do damage and the victim can turn around.

Can you melee with your weapons, and are there bayonets?

No and no. But dude, why not just download it and give it a rip? You'll love it. If you like reality that is.

To be fair, the SVD is a DMR, and not a sniper rifle. The MEC .50 cal sniper rifle will take anyone down with one body shot, AFAIK.

Im not getting BF2 till Christmas, and i wanna make sure I dont make too many stupid mistakes after downloading PRM.

This thread has got me thinking. Should there be a changelist for PR? By changelist, i mean the changes from vBF2 1.41 to PRM 0.40. It would help out alot. I remember with version 0.3 i was looking around to see a proper changelist to show what was actually different from vBF2 (before downloading it) but couldn't find one.

Do most people use TS or VOIP?

Thats what I plan to do, PRM and FH2

I do, but unfortunately the majority doesn't.
But most of the time there is a VoIP squad in each team, so you are able to find others who use it.
