I personally think there could be more swearing ingame.
I never experienced war or anything but I can imagine that you really need a fckng medic when you get shot.
You can sometimes even hear the f after f in some helmetcam videos.
It gives way more dimmension and feeling to the reality in the game.

swearing isn't necessary, but it's not necessary to remove either, there is an age rating on this game already

I just completed far cry 3 (steam sales yay!) now THAT is a game that's not safe for young'uns

Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about the words in the game. I don't mind them either, and I certainly don't think they ruin it, but maybe for him they do.

I still can't find any other bad words in English or French, except "Hell". If that's the only one, I don't think it's really much to ask it be removed if it's offensive.

I think cussing in a game doesn't really matter as in RL, as long as it is not multiplayer then that is something else. Blood adds realism !

Hold on OP, PR Mumble chat will generally have way worse swearing. Does that mean you voluntarily mute PR Mumble? You aren't the guy on the squad who never listens to orders because you can't hear them, are you?

It may surprise you that some people have MORALS! i'm ok with shooting people but language is just unnecessary, it may be more realistic but you don't need it! and since i don't play mp all i have to worry about is the bots using the commo rose. And I don't spend any time at a desk either!!!

And blood is actually NOT realistic especially with a bunch of gear on.

That's why other American's have to step in and inform the rest of the world that were not all jaded into believing that we get to decide what is moral and what isn't. It took a lot of restraint for me to not post the response I wanted to but as my grandfather would say, "you've got a lot of nerve pal." What's really moral is to have tolerance for unnecessary things and to be fair if you want we could make an all collaborator protest version of PR where we don't even have guns, cause to be critical, they probably aren't necessary either. Going through an awful lot of trouble to delete words but if anyone spends half the time finding the words to teach kids right from wrong we wouldn't need to come up with idiotic ideas to justify our "morals".

As a religious man with so called "morals" myself. I play multiplayer, and I hear a lot more cursing than you hear from the AI using the comrose, and guess what, I'm fine with it. It's not my business if others are cursing, I just choose not to curse myself. And the blood is for gameplay purposes, also, there's a lot of death and blood in the Bible, so yea.

For someone who is asking for tolerance, you're not being very tolerant yourself.

On a side note:
The controversial theme of this thread is enough, we don't need American stereotypes.

I'm religious, but we don't have religious discussions here. I don't want you to get in trouble. I already got a talking-to about the "bad guys".

Yes, if you get shot with gear on, unless it's in the plates, there's gonna be blood. Sorry, that's just the way it is. Just take my word for it.

Regarding swearing...well, I don't particularly like it, but, I have only found one word I wouldn't use in a job interview, and that's "Hell" when you go outside the map. Maybe there are more. I don't know, I haven't heard them. I can understand the English and French audio, maybe they have some bad words in Arabic or Chinese or Russian that I can't understand. If that's the only problem, I don't see why it can't be changed in the next release, but it should not be THAT big of a deal and I would not expect a privately-made product to go through excessive work to re-record several other voices in multiple languages just to satisfy a few people. And by the way, God's name is YHWH, not "Hell".

For the record, I have American citizenship. We're not all like the international stereotypes...in fact most of us aren't like that.
