Heh, last time I cheated in a game was in Diablo and even then it was 'just' making copies of good items. Really don't see any reason to do it. You gain nothing and eventually all that "fun" will become quite boring, i'd think. If I got paid for being the number 1, then.. well..

I think it's pretty simple: Kids cheat. Lot's of publicity on Good Ol' PR lately -> Kids want to try it out, find it too hard to play by the book -> msxsecurity, heeeere weee come. It's normal and (hopefully) will die out soon.. DICE really needs to put out more stuff like 2142 for our little children.

And seriously, if you are 25 and cheating, end your life. We won't miss you, promise.

PR is a small enough community to just route out the hackers and perma ban them on the spot.

Thats red, the things that are green seem to be the ones that are activated.

Problem with hacking in PR is that its very difficult to tell a good player, or someone who got a lucky headshot, from a cheater. I know I'm always wary of cryng cheat, even if I think they're having a round thats too good to be true.

people don't cheat to get a good score, or to get good stats... well, that's not the main reason. The main reason is to ruin other people's fun.

Let's raid the cheater forums and bring'em down...

I don't get it why people hack in games like BF. It's not that type of game like CS where you need very good aiming and skills to be successfull.
You can make good points by just capping flags, for example.
And hacking in PR is absolutely pathetic. It's a MOD!
Nobody gives a shit about points there.

Indeed. I know most the regular good players on our server so when anyone knew comes along who seems extra good we take a good look at them.

Yeah it can be. There's people I have suspected of possibly hacking after a couple of very good rounds but I just made sure I kept an eye on them, squadded with them, and played with them over at least 5 rounds monitoring how they done and so far all have just turned out to either have just had lucky rounds or genuinley be good players from what I could see.

I've been accused of hacking myself a few times but it's fair enough when i'm playing well and taking gold 9 times out of 10 rounds for example.

That end of round leaderboard doesn't mean much to me normally.

If i'm near the bottom that doesn't mean that I didn't provide some benefit to the team that allowed the rest to achieve a high score.

ask anyone who tried to take a vehicle up to mow my team down and evaporated when faced with a little soldier proferring a xmas pressie (c4) at them. Ask anyone who tried to get a vehicle out of their spawn only for it to disturb the mine placed under it! Or once a legendary moment when the entire enemy team RVing behind a building just south before trying to overwhelm the gardens on ejod when i ran through their smoke into the middle of them and blew them all to hell!


I still have a few tricks up my sleeve to use on my enemies and I wont be letting them become common knowledge until after my enemies have finally figured out whats going on.

The main problem you'll have with me nowadays is when i am NOT coming at you head on

I am very glad that there are so many server admins that are taking this problem seriously. However, there is one major problem with using PB screeshots; some of the more sophisticated hacks will produce a clean screenshot despite the wall hacks, aimbots, etc being seen on the actual monitor. The PB screenshotss gret for many hacks, but are not an ironclad guarantee that someone isn't cheeting.

lol i remember the night i got 35 kills and 6 deaths with the attack littlebird in Thors. Glad those Germans know what real American pwnage is and they didn't accuse me. Personally I have never used hacks in my entire life. The most I have gone with hacks is probably trainer on this racing game. Other than that, I devote myself to a game. That is, why you pay $50 bucks to own the game, not to be #1 all the time unless you deserved it. It kinda feels shitty when you're #1 and YOU KNOW you use hacks. All you hackers out there: please turn off your hacks and just be a good sport .

if u want to hack take it to the poe thingy mod over there, Where you can use those little gadgets and shitty blah blah blah, but not Project Reality. It's the best thing since sliced bread. Don't ruin it

last measure could be password protected servers for "verified" players only - lets just hope it won´t need to come that far

ECGN takes tons of Screenies, we probably got 5 of Collado, all clean so far.

lol collado is a straight player played with him many times, its the people with very basic and obvious names who are pvt's and are super high with kills and have like 1 or 2 deaths...today was weird i was on some enemies back and knifed him like 3 times and blood was shead and everything but still didnt die, turned around with m4 and i was dead

Either I came off the wrong way or your mistaking what I said. We are not accusing you of hacking, or even thinking that your hacking. Your a good player, I 've squaded up with you before. Like BTT said, the people in the upper end of the scoreboard are going to get a screenshot taken of them. I have taken screenshots of players that I have played with for over 2 years.
Don't feel that we are accusing you of anything, we take some random shots, I just remember seein gyour name on one of the shots taken. Plus this screenshot taking stuff is kinda new to us so we enjoy doing it

How do these things get past punkbuster? If I even look at the objects_client folder weird PB detects it and I have to reinstall bf2. It pisses me off, I try to change the menu music and I have to reinstall, meanwhile this seems to get below pb...

Why hasn't anyone posted this site in EA or DICE forums yet or reported it? Or has someone already done it? It is not like they are denying it, they are outright talking about their hacks and selling them.

I just hope this game in general(vBF2) doesn't turn into the mess that is Counterstrike Source with all the cheating. Yesterday, I was shooting at a guy who hide behind cover along with me on the other side of the map in Dust 2, and he randomly did a bunny hop out from the cover and got an instant headshot on me. I am talking about across the whole map too(Bomb Site B to Bomb Site A while still in mid air with no awp, just an AK)

The hitboxes in CSS are so screwed up kind of like the headshots in PR that it is becoming harder to tell which is which.
