The CRA (Coalition Reconnaissance Agency) spotted new Federation troops silently moving towards the city outskirts of Beirut, while drawing our attention to the la Drang valley.

After we successfully repelled a naval invasion of the north-west of the city two weeks ago, more Federation units are reportedly forming up 10 km south-east of the city with heavy machinery. We assure every local citizen that Coalition forces will stand their ground and fight of any further EMF attempts to take over your capitol and spread their tyranny.

We came here and promised you safety, so we'll finish where we started.

Every squad within the Pan-Atlantic Coalition trains every week, practicing their battleplan. If there are no team battles, we often play skirmishes between the squads. Want to join the fun? Want to be TEAM STRONG.?

A couple of pictures from what i experienced of the battle:

We got deployed at UN Outpost via Spooks Chinook and our rally.
Image

EMF was already trying to get up to the mountain and came with an APC, Logi and a Jeep. I think it was Huskys AR that took care of the three guys on top of the BTR.
Image

After that it was taken out by a grenadier. The truck driver drove past the entrance, a little down the hill, and got shot. The Logi was latern blown up.
Image

Shorty after the infantry from the jeep came up the hill. They managed to wound a couple of our guys but got repelled very fast.
Image

Thats when the mortars started. The first salvo was pretty well aimed and downed some PACs, but nothing serious and everyone was revived iirc. Two more salvos went further south and didnt really do any damage at all. The fourth destroyed the FOB which got quickly rebuild.
Image

After that we tried to leave UN Outpost and go help capping South District.
But a Tank in the east spotted us and took us under fire. After it moved south, all got revived and we moved on.
Image

AR and HAT were placed on a roof within South Districts capzone and kept a lookout for enemies.
Image

MooseBoys tried to shot a moving BMP but a building at the construction blocked the line of fire.
Image

Phoenix picked up an enemy HAT and tried engaging it as well but it drove through the forest in the south and the rocket hit a tree.
Image

The APC and couple of infantry kept moving south. Shortly after, the round ended.

Here at PAC, every squad member is taken in by a squad and their talents put to good use. When someone can no longer play and must resign, it is a sad day. If you were to sign up, make friends and do very well indeed, maybe I'd write a resignation poem for you as well.

Case in point:
For whom the bells trolls (By John Donne & [PR]PAC|Murkey):

No man is a lone-wolf,
A squad of itself.
Each is a piece of the team,
A part of the game.
If a FOB be washed away by the sea,
Muttrah is the less.
As well as if a fox-hole were.
As well as if a kit of thine own
Or of thine friend's were.
Fin's resignation diminishes me,
For I am involved in PAC.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell trolls,
It trolls for thee.
Original here.

Cheers, Murkey.

Around 3 years ago, before my promotion to SCO of the Pan-Atlantic Coaltion, I was leading a small CRA unit as Senior Special Agent. We were initially deployed in Sa'dah, Yemen to localize a major AQAP hideout including several weapon caches spread north and west of the city, being the main supplier of loyal cells in Abha, Saudi Arabia. We stayed there for almost 9 months. The information we gathered throughout the time lead to a douzen drones strikes and the killing of more than a hundred confirmed AQAP militants including 2 top-15 wanted AQAP members known as El-Mudad al-Nashiri and Saleh Muhammad al-Homaiqani. Both masterminds in the ACS Dole bombing in 2000 and many other operations.

Instead of pulling us out after that, SAD sent us over the border to Salalah, Oman. We moved to Muscat shortly after. The rising political tension in the country was observed by our intelligence for years already. Since the supported coup against Said bin Taimur by his son Qaboos bin Said 1970, the country opened its oil ressources to the world and ended its isolation. Using its oil revenue for modernization and development and due to the supportive role of PAC member states in the Dhofar Rebellion, the country became a stable and secure ally of the coalition. But even though China and the Soviet Union were the main supplier and supporter of the rebels, negotiations and business between Russia and Oman alarmingly increased since 2000. Intercepted phone calls between Oman Oil CEO Isam bin Saud al-Mashani and russian SPIMEX representative Jaroslaw Morozov revealed plans of a russian-iranian cooperation with the goal of redirecting all gas and oil trades east and south of the EU through the newly created commodities exchange in St. Petersburg, leading to major control of the sale and production of more than 80% of the worlds fossil fuel ressources. CRA operatives were able to confirm these efforts in several other EMF member states months before already, but no connection between these could be found. Only the recent recordings explained the massive money transactions and sudden equipment exchanges between gulf states and russia.

The whole purpose is to cut off the PAC from the fossil fuel market and bleed us out. Due to this recent events and the Said family being part of this EMF lead conspiracy, they were no longer considered as allies. The only way of securing the western worlds rights on the global fuel market and saving its economy from the devastating consquences, was a massive military intervention in the middle east, China and Russia at its fuel ressources. Thats how the whole conflict between PAC and EMF escalated.

Muttrah, being the most important historical harbor on the eastern side of the arabian peninsula and being a key position for securing Oman's capitol Muscat is ironically also the place responsible for kicking off the whole operation. Oman is our toehold to the whole peninsula and its extremely important that we get hold of it. From there on we could easily advance north.

Coming back to my story my unit was therefor moved to Muscat, Muttrah. We were supposed to cover up as tourists and observe the defences and provide strategic and geological intel about the whole costal area so HQ had more than satellite images to work with when planning the naval assault. We were taking as many pictures and videos as we were able to, without being suspicious. Since tourism was never a major industrial sector in Omans economy, based on the idea of preserving cultural integrity, strangers other than businessmen were rarely ever seen on Muscats streets. We had to operate with extreme caution and with absolute waterproof aliases to not get disguised. Part of this was publishing recorded material to the public. We could be sure that EMF intelligence would still notice a local peak of foreign tourists in that area and double check the individuals. With this much footage being visibly taken some of it had to be published to not raise suspicion. This is just one of the examples:

The operation was successful. We gathered more than enough information about strategically important positions, weaknesses in enemy defences and reaction time of Saids troops. After being pulled back home, I was quickly moved to DOD for my services and was mainly assisting in organizing the assault on the different fronts against the EMF. Throughout this process I was promoted to SCO of the coalition forces due to my extensive experience in combat, as a field agent and strategic adviser and am now responsible for our troops activities in the east.

As planned EMF was unable to predict our move on Muttrah and is now relying on local troops who are supposed to secure the harbor until reinforcements arrive. PAC forces are ready and deployed in the Gulf of Oman and will assault and conquer the harbor and the capitol within the next 2 days before any support will even reach the western border.

This is a final message to the EMF high command. Start negotiating with us again and we might end this before it starts.

I did not provide you the video and its backstory for no reason. Look at it. The life there is peaceful and quiet. EMF you will be responsible for any suffering these people might go through. You will be the one to blame for millions of civilian casualties and the lost of cultural treasures and history. We managed to maintain control of Lebanon before you could pull them into your little power game aswell. And you saw what happened when you tried to take them. Twice!

Listen carefully: Once we start the Middle Eastern Operation, we won't stop for nothing. There will be no negotiations anymore. As soon as the first shots are fired we will continue moving until we take Teheran. And after that Beijing, and then Moscow.

Its your decision.

What a devoted SCO, he made the trip to the actual battlefield in order for us to have the best intel possible. Another reason why PAC is the way to go!

EMF did not respond to my final offer. PAC troops started an amphibious assault on Muttrah at 1900 PRT under General Cruzmissiles command. As expected the local troops were not able to withstand our forces and were quickly decimated.

Coalition infantry is securing Muscat City Center while we are speaking. Since the harbor is under our control we are able to deploy vehicles and more troops without resistance.

The City Center was stormed shortly after the coast was safe and its just a matter of time until we cleaned out the capitols outskirts aswell.

Intelligence reported EMF reinforcements did not cross the borders to Oman after we took the City center and instead of retreating they are now building up defences along the Border to prevent us from advancing any further.
Its a symbolic act to not show weakness, but both, we and the enemy, know that this won't be enough to stop us from moving north.

With Muscat in our hands, the arabian peninsula is virtually ours.

I guess so, no piles of corpses behind him, so that must be the initial charge and Cruz was leading it.
