'[R-DEV wrote:eggman']So no intent to make PR a simulator. But we do intend to continue to improve it and maybe it will be more to your liking in future releases.
ty for the answer, egg, and be patient for my suggestions

wrt Bunnyhopping.

-when you jump it severley decreases your stamina, so jump more than once in a row and you cannot sprint.

-this means if someone you are shooting at bunnyhops, he is slowing down, and can't run, therefore an easier target. Its a bad tacitc.

-So why leave 'bunnyhopping' in? Because theres no 'climb' in bf2. It would be silly if a whole squad could not move because they were trapped behind a 2ft sandbag wall. :p

On another note if you (topic creator) want to see these changes then ask not what they devs can do for you, ask what you can do for the devs.

The only way to unlock the ability of the game is to break into DICE/EA and steal the code to unlock, uhhhh, the hardcoded info. If you'll lead the assault I will follow you in. We need 2 medics, 1 riflemen, 1 AP-riflemen, AT-Riflemen, and a Support gunner if they have any planes (that gun works as an AA gun too)

hehe...well it has more realism than the other mods I have played, and the focus is between realism and gameplay. If we were capable of doing so we would make the game as much a sim as possible, but given the engine we cannot do that. Regardless, PR is as close to a sim as BF2 will ever get.

Its just the small things that do it, like the M4 and Grail that make it a little arcadey. There being delt with now so there should be no worry.

...mongol... (.32 M4 FTW!!!!)

This isn't a simulation, it's a game.

You do have to keep elements of FUN, not like America's Army or CS:S when you get shot once and die, can't respawn YAWN.

Make things too realistic and it gets incredibly dull.
