Tbh I have to say the sniper rifle sound is way too loud. Once one fires everyone one on the map looks that direction so this being said.

How true you are.

Breacher can do anything spotter does, and do it way way better. I've never seen a sniper spotter team, it's mostly breacher/sniper or sniper/marksman.

The only use spotter has for me is when I'm on opfor, because spotter is one of three kits with a scoped rifle.

You can't be a sniper. Go grab an AR kit or something else



Starting
- Know the map
(This can give you the advantage)
- Plan ahead before moving
(Going out without a goal will get you killed before you decide something)
- Find yourself a teammate
(Medics, breachers, squad leaders and spotters are a huge advantage)




Mobility
- The shortest way is the most dangerous. Take the long way
(You don?t want to be seen, do you?)
- Do not use choppers to get into the fight
(You will die exactly after you thank the pilot)
- Flank, get behind your enemies
(Facing enemies is the best way to get killed. Flank the enemy location and kill them from behind)
- Move from cover to cover. Take a look around before moving again
(Stay in cover for few seconds to recover your stamina)
- Find high places like rooftops or a T-building
(Hotel rooftops and towers are not recommended for being too obvious)
- After finding a good place to stay, PLAN an escape route
(In case things went too bad)



Survival
- Be patient
(If you hear a vehicle, why would you run in the open? Find cover and WAIT)
- Pay attention and listen well
(Enemy vehicles sounds, comma chats or even footsteps gives your enemy location easier then looking through the scope)
- Pull out your pistol when moving (facing enemies using stones is better than facing enemies with a sniper rifle in hands)
- Use tripflares as your advantage
(Don?t use them 3 feet away from you. Find a place where you can still pull your pistol out)
- Do not expose yourself for too long
(Otherwise you will be seen or followed)
- Don?t be too close to the window
(Your weapon will become visible, you will be spotted)
- If the enemy see you or shoot at your direction, do not try to spot him. Get out and RUN
(staying will get you killed)
- When pinned down, do not run in a line. Get into many buildings, jump many walls and when you find a good cover, STAY HIDDEN)
- Spot main threats
(Give your team good, REAL intel so they can be intercept the threat and eventually make you safer)





Firing
- Learn how to use your gun
(Do you know how to use the French sniper rifle? No? Then why would you go out using it?)
- Learn how to hold your fire
(Not sure if that?s friend or foe? That bush looks like an enemy soldier for you? Is that dead body really moving? DO NOT FIRE until you confirm your target)
- Do not waste too much ammo
(If you run out of ammo in the battlefield, that moment when you were shooting an enemy chopper will haunt you for the rest of your short sniper life)
- Always check your surroundings
(Looking around sometimes may give you a warning of what is happening)
- Keep down after shooting
(The enemy is not a bot. They will find cover and they will try to find you. Popping up to get more kills will end up getting you killed)
- Aim to the chest
(Most people says you need to headshot to get an insta-kill. Even if that?s true, would you like to risk a headshot and miss, or would you like to give a 100% chance shot to rip 90% off his health?)
- Don?t shoot a moving target unless you are totally sure you will hit
(If you miss, you?re in trouble)
- Use the ambient sounds/firelights to cover your fire
(A chopper passing by can be an amazing way to hide your shot)
