When you double click the PR icon the launcher launches the small window with play, support and other things?

I dont think so, I downloaded something from a web site called BF2 Battlelog - Home
Someone said that I need like a luancher to get BF2 work on Multiplayer. Cuz gamespy shut down and then I need to use that luancher/program to play online

No you do not, PR and FH teams developed their own work-around before the ReviveBF2-project. That's why it doesn't work, you simply need to use the launcher that comes with the installation of PR...

Then you use the RBF2 launcher

You can, but it takes way longer than in modern BF games and it doesn't get you more than an additional gun per class, which are unlocked on most servers anyway.

BF2 (vanilla) has its own ranking system. You can unlock weapons by leveling up (killing people and getting XP etc)
BF2 R has no ranking system

Join squad, press T and request kit.
Read PR manual

I had this same problem and realized that my virus protection program was blocking the game then closing it out on start up. I disabled my virus protection program to see if it would work and BAM it worked. Its just a suggestion maybe give it a try? let us know if it worked! :
