It doesnt lag
and its got a higher view distance. And some better trees planted by rhino. The rest I fixed up, more rubbish everywhere basically, to make it look shittier.
Better flags and vehicles, itl be hard to recognise

...kinda...

Played on TNT 24/7 Basrah server with about 15v15 today. Had a really good game. Was n some good squads with 22ndMEU guys ajnd some other clans.
We managed to capture and hold facility, and ALMOST bled out the insurgents.
Was a really good game.
I think that was when I was there, good game.

It doesnt lag and its got a higher view distance.

But I thought the view distance was reduced to remove lag, or did you just remove a bunch of objects?

Its been tested with a Nvidia5700 and 512 ram and runs smooth (on low settings)

ye and if it runs smooth on a GFx card that isnt even supported by BF2, you can bet your nuts it will run smooth on your PC
I would hope so after staying up all night fixing it

I played some on the 24/7 server on saturday. IT was a blast. As USMC we were able to make it all the way to the mosque (something I had never done..) and I saw parts of the map i had never seen before. Those spawn cars are a huge pain though!!!
Is it wrong to camp a spawn car and rack up mega-spawn kills on the driver seat? As a medic, I couldn't blow it up... any tips? Can I take the car and make it so they can't spawn?

Glad you had a GG. and lol, I suppose you could camp the carseat and they will get the message, but those things are really weak. They take 1 grenade of 2 magazines of M16 ammo to destroy.

yeah, I like that map... sans base campers... but sounds like that problem is done for. I would like to see ONE grey flag, but even without, it's easy enough to gain the first flag with a little cooperation.
