I guess so, but I still think they should set APCs on fire in one hit, because the game can't model internal damage and dead crew.

Most likely bug hit (=visible hit effect for player but no damage done) as APFSDS-T from tanks 1-shots every helicopter excluding hind.

I know I hit it because it started smoking, and apfsds has no splash damage.

They already do.

Alarm goes off when IFV/medium apc(as far as I tried with opfpr tanks and ifv) is shot.
