As a 3-4 days fresh player I can say that most SL:s have been very helpful. The "Newbie squads" are usually very practical and I jon one if there's a free spot. But a tip for the veterans: If you know that there are many newbies, don't wait for questions to come to you but remind people of what they are supposed to do (report enemies, tell them how to switch kit on the field and so on, the basic stuff). Of course you can't keep track on everything, but me for example can get very confused sometimes but the helping voice of SL Jesus usually helps.

I've searched high and low, forgive me if this is common knowledge. I clicked the option to log me into my online account automatically, if I remember correctly from the brief glance I had, this account management screen was where you changed tags. Could someone help me find another way to change them, please? I'd like to exercise this idea (adding an obvious "I don't know what I'm doing yet, help me learn!" marker) before I play a match.

Yes you do. Last time I played the experienced Australian players stayed in one squad and toyed around with the enemy noob squads (mind you, I led a noob squad with good results and will do so again). YAK, if you're reading this maybe you could split your guys up next time since they tend to wipe the floor with everyone.

I like the idea of veterans having tags. [VET] is simple and a great example.

A Step-by-Step How-To Guide for Changing Your Tags

Step 1. Launch Project Reality


Step 2. Hover cursor over "PLAY". A down arrow will appear.


Step 3. Click on on down arrow. Click on "Select Profile".


Step 4. The Select Profile screen will pop up. Click on your profile.


Step 5. You can now change your password and your in-game tag! You can also select the boxes to always remember your password and to always use selected profile.


Step 6. Click Login and enjoy your PR experience.

What do you think about L like Learning? I think meaning is quite obvious.

It has to be in server side rules or manual to widespread it.

To widespread it, it has to be in your in-game menu, in big! People will always see that, while only 25% of the community reads the forums

*Squad Name*+ was my idea clearly, don't steal it devs, you can do whatever with the tags though!

Haha! Well, I hope you can lead a squad of new guys to victory soon!

Thats settles it. I guess we know most players by name, can see by the nametag alone who is new and can overlay on the known players stats such as douchery, trans pilot skill (or lack thereof) and chance of flipping the tank. No need for a new tag .
