Mats391;2076986']How about we keep the recoil and just tweak it? :) This is in no way a black and white thing. I think the recoil is mostly fine, just a bit too high.

The problem is that it causes unrealistic sliding.

Go ahead and keep the recoil(but adjusted), but sliding needs to go.
Could also remove recoil on tracked vehicles to give some tangible advantage on uneven terrains.
I have no opposition to "screen shake" type of recoil. I have an opposition toward vehicle push recoil. As ComradeHX said, it causes vehicle sliding which just breaks gameplay more than what it gives back. Screen shake recoil without push recoil would be the way to solve this IMO.

This seems to be the most realistic and gameplayfriendly way to fix it

We will try to fix the sliding. Sliding is an issue even w/o recoil. Cannot say if a change will make it into the next patch.

when inside of any modern vehicle (bradley, cv90) there is no recoil felt from autocannons. tank main guns are a different story.

screen shake recoil is also unrealistic, a bradley is a a 60,000lb vehicle. it takes alot more power than a 25mm can put out to even move the thing.

Yeah, it's been reduced quite a bit in 1.31, but may get removed entirely soon. About the screen shake though, this definitely looks like some screen shake to me?

The handheld camera "amplifies" the shaking effect in my opinion.

Probably a little, but watch the bottom edge of the screen itself and you'll see it moves very little in relation to the handheld camera's view.

Push recoil would be a good thing if it wouldn't be so broken due to BF2 engine traction system. I'm sure many players would apperciate adding screen shake / removing push recoil from APCs. It really does limit their operation area away from hills (e.g. VBCI in OP Marlin's hills) and takes away from APC gameplay in general. Good spots to sit on are easily halved due to push recoil.
