This isn't a myth, but a lot of people claim it to be. I have done extensive testing and ALL emplacements will be dug 25% faster when standing up. It is a FACT.

Good Evening,

PricelineNegotiator, I don't know where you are getting your "extensive testing" information but I strongly believe that this is a myth. Everytime I have dug anything related to a FOB, any position of shoveling does not increase or decrease the amount of digging. Yes, I've counted how many shovels, how many shovels per 10 seconds, and how many shovels (percentage wise) are decreased on an actual FOB per shovel being used.

Here is the thing about anything related to a FOB, it starts degrading the instant you place it. When you test this stuff, you have to have a shovel kit immediately available to start digging the instant it pops to get any type of accurate information. I've placed FOBS ran to get my kit, come back and it takes 47 shovels. If I do what I just mentioned above, it is only 45.

For more information on the shovel information, check out the PR Statistics and Useless information thread.

I did see one thing about if an arrested CIVI was revived how are the Intel Points affected. My belief is that they still get the Intel because you are wounded. I base this upon the fact that you usually lose one ticket when you are wounded and another ticket when you go "dead dead". Since there is no possible way in God's green earth to visually monitor the Intel Points, this is a moot point and only a DEV can possibly answer that.

The only myth I've never been sure about is rather or not the warm up timer directly influences the squad bug.

As a medic back in the old days I fell for the whole CPR actually affecting the eppi chance to miss dependant on how long someone was down for, which obviously isn't the case it was a misunderstanding of stuck bodies.

Wounded = soldiers eyes are open. Dead dead = eyes are shut.

It doesnt. I still dont know how exactly but it has something todo with creating a squad and then getting switched as SL. The squad disappears visually on the previous team but is still there somehow and blocks other squads from being created. Switching this person back to his old team fixes the issue.

And since in the beginning of a round autobalance switches people around and also the auto teamswap is applied its not advisable to create squads too early.

Thats a myth yeah :D , is not true.

Before the M60 was properly introduced in PR along with the Vietnam mod, there were rumours that it could be found on top in one of the caves on Op. Barracuda. The myth could be confirmed by me, or not?

It was in the cave near Chinese main but not on top.

I remember back when Bi Ming had the .50 cal sniper rifle in one of the huts just past the first bridge leading out of Chinese main. Dat thing was da bomb!

Yea, probably on that as well. But one kit spawned in the most northern and southern bunker on Kashan.

Wasn't it a PKM ?

I think this one comes from the tests where Mosquill (I think) and a few others were aiming to introduce a proper ballistic system into PR. During the tests the lower velocity of the tracers compared with standards rounds were fucking with the whole system (less velocity -> more drop).
