Try turning down Effects and Voice Over volume in Audio Options, and make sure hte Recieve volume is 100% in VOIP.
This helped for me, the VOIP will then be louder over the effects etc, you just need to get this balance right for you.

I take the right headphone partially off and this tilts the mic right into my mouth and then I use my annuciating voice and most people can hear me.
The only problem is the gf can also hear me from anywhere in the apt and starts yelling.
I have plans to build a mini gaming room in my living room with soundproofed walls so I can really bellow orders.

Non-english speakers(no offence intended.....not that you would understand anyway) seem to be the least interested in any kind of squad activety. They often snatch up and M4 and move out, after being rejected a DM/sniper kit(the reason why they joined your squad anyway).

ATM there is a lul in teamplay, squad play and sportmanship. After the M4 is rectefied, i think it may clean itslef up as the vBF2 sivs away....The only thing i ask is 'What next?'It was the support clas 1st and now the spec ops. I know that the AK101 is excessivly used by the MEC forces because they tend to have a dislike to the G3. You have a more 'easy to use weapn' and a UGL, what is there to lose?(skill, sportmanship ect).

When a couple of people join my squad with M4s, i say "next spawn guys, i want no M4s in this squad. We're going in clean". They tend to reply with "look, if you want me to get kills and down the enemy i use the M4".....Surely that defeats the point in playing a barely rank and gain related game? Using the M4 to me seems to be a way of making up for something, be it Lack of ability of....*cough* something else.
I reply to them" I dont care if we get wipped out at the first wall over there, as long as we have a good firefight. Or we give them a chance to out skill us"
....I will be less incline to tell them this if the enmy is spamming nades. I want to get the round over with so maybe we gat a map not so easy to spam at.

i'm having to order a new sound card today from ebuyer because my mobos onboard sound has a little issue. I can use ingame voip fine, but only record mic sound whilst using FRAPS, or I can record FRAPS with ingame sound and mic, but voip has all ingame sounds in my voip transmit!

So, anyone hearing star wars sounds when I'm talking for the next week, remind me to mute my stereo mix :)

ebuyer selling off an asonic soundcard for £12 right now, no need for anyone not to have ingame sound at that price. Plus having a pci soundcard means less reliance on cpu for audio hopefully, so those loud sounds like explosions, lightning and A10's should lag me less after that

Why? You speak english. He said non-english speakers. Not non-native speakers.

If there's people that don't speak english joining your squad, it's going to put a bit of a damper on the whole communication thing.

As for not letting your squad go M4, I think it's required sometimes. Like on north desert flag of EJOD. If it's a 64 player server, then you're going to need a couple M4s in order to ever capture that spawn.

If I've got a full squad, I like to have one spec ops point man. Sometimes a spec ops SL is in order, as they get the SOFLAM, and they can defend themselves ub3r pwn1shly :P .

I don't know where you get that from, I have been in squads with people with all kind of languages using VoiP and teamwork.

How about this for getting pissed off.... Al Jabal...we take the bridge ...lose the bridge retake the bridge ... lose the bridge .... over and over.
W T F ?
After the first three times ....doesn't occur to anyone to muthafuggin' DEFEND the bridge ?
Or how about a squad labeled " T/W + VIOP " that is always out of position and nobody is talking on VIOP ?
I know we need to be patient with noobs to PR and try to guide them, but some common sense is needed.
DEFEND the last flag taken while another squad moves on the next flag.
It's not rocket science.

Yeah I wonder why people don't like defending. Most of the time defending is very intense, flanking squads coming in, choppers landing nearby, grenades flying... more action than what one guy can take, and this time you even have the upper hand.
And some people keep asking for orders even though I've clearly said that we are on defence until next flag is taken and a defence marker is placed on our flag. People need more patience, there can be quiet times, but when action starts, you'd better be awake.
