Oh my gosh! Thank you, finally someone who understands me! XD

I usually just call them John xP

People have pronounced my nickname in any possible way but i always know i'm addressed immediatly

few days ago I was playing with a guy who just called me "G" the entire round,
made me feel like a pimp or something.

and there is basically no round where I won't be asked about my name if the squad leader doesn't know me.
a typical start of a round is like:
SL:"gewuuu gweeeee gewaaa wgweeyyy....shit! how do you pronounce your name??"
ME:"*sad face* just say gwai:"
on one side it's hilarious on the other sometimes really annoying

I do agree, that weird nicknames are ...weird. Bare with it, or dont.

I totally agree with this... Every time the Squad Leader wants to assign me an objective is a pain in the *** for him to call me up...

Well Sergeant is an English word it's like he isn't even trying. What should we name ourselves? One, Two, Three, Dog, Bird.
I agree that there are some ridiculous names such as @332$T!3 but most of the names just require to be read once to find a quick and easy way to pronounce them. For example I'd just call you Roland if I can't pronounce Sergeant.

I know that we can't put our real names in a videogame, maybe you could do that; but nicknames or funny nicknames, are part of gaming...
