I like downloading PR, its like the great race, you're racing everyone in this entire community to play the next version first. I have cable, hardwire connection, and bitlord, so it only takes about an hour maybe less. Then after you play a little bit you can come on the forums and read people bitching about how slow there download is and tell them all about whats in the game lol.

'[R-DEV wrote:eggman']And makes it a bajillion times easier for us to produce as well as add in MD5 checking (to reduce cheating). v0.5 will be the first release with full MD5 checking.
So.. that means.. hm.. i use a virtual image of bf2. because my DVD rom wont swallow the bf2 DVD. does it mean i cant use this image anymore?
Do i really have to spend more money to buy a new DVD rom just to play? :(

i have spent 3500 dollars last year on my computer. but just not for a new DVD rom, since i had this chance to play bf2 with a virtual image.

My DVD rom let me install the game, it just wont let my play the damn game

No you won't have to use the disc. Your image will be fine.

Since your on this topic, can i use alcohol 120% to do this burn Creating an Image then burning it to the Virtual drive?? or must i burn it to disk first using like nero then to the virtual drive?

Hold everything, I did itit was so simple, u "can" mount the image stright after u copy the cd cheers anyway

i use a mini image too. just a few mb's. its better than copy/pasting the original dvd, and making a image with nero for example..

Here is a link to the website where you can download this mini image:

http://m0005.gamecopyworld.com/games/pc ... attlefield choose Battlefield 2 [ALL] No-DVD/Fixed Image #3 link on this site

You need daemon tools to run the image. here is a link to the official website to download correct version of daemon tools:

http://www.disc-tools.com/download/daemon

in case your bf2 DVD dies or just for some reason wont work.

Dead things smell, especially when they explode, especially when they are a cow. I'd rather smell a rotting human than a rotting cow or whale, I'm assuming whales have an equal stench.
