sorry i copied the wrong directory..

it should be in here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2

Ok so ran it as the admin and the screen when't black for a second and then back to desktop

i'm not sure as to what is causing this then.. you could right click on PRbf2.exe and add "+fullscreen" to the end of your shortcut and see if you get an error. something is either blocking PR from starting or you have a bad install of something. I noticed that you mentioned that you just wiped your computer and you have vista.. I would suggest you get something other than vista like windows 7 if thats something you can do. sorry, i'm out of ideas

OK one last question i have WinRAR installed and under the PRBF2 application in the folder there is a zip fille with loads of other things in it (2,806KB according to my computer) is that supposed to be there?

i don't know, I don't have PR installed at the moment. how did you install PR? you should be using something like poweriso or ultraiso or any other iso/cd/dvd mounting tool to install

I used the recomended torent to download it and then extracted the files with winrar and ran the instal

'pylib-2.3.4.zip' is supposed to be there, yes.

Have you tried re-installing using an image mounting software, like Daemon Tools?

So my PR has been working fine up until today, nothing updated and nothing changed. So after messing around and reinstalling completely nothing has been able to fix it. I get the same error that was mentioned earlier in this thread when I launch in windowed, but get a no report when I launch in fullscreen. Not sure whats causing the issue.
