Sure The Z9 is a pretty shitty chopper in the overall ranking of CAS Choppers, its still going to be a shit show.

If you want to put CAS on the map, Do a tiger vs z10. Or don't do CAS at all.

Since when does AA down good pilots in PR? Pilots die due to other aircraft or due to pilot error, but never by MANPADS or AA emplacements.

A bit naive and perhaps complete lack of understanding balance of the developers that they think

Played AAS Infantry layer yesterday.

Gameplay lasted for 3 whole hours, many of us had never played the map and turned out to be a lot better than first expected.

Some noticeable flaws though, The Chinese seemed to get a lot of sound bugs from the German helicopters, and from time to time from the German Puma APC. meanwhile the germans didnt get a single soundbug at all.

This was possibly the best map to date for the Eurocopter Tiger and I think it's a grave mistake to remove it from the map.

Thats because its basically unposed unless the Z9 gunner is a god or the tiger does something completely stupid.

Haha ffg :D , as if you are always playing alone on the battlefield.

The Type 95AA is a powerful tool to zone the enemy air assets out of the Chinese air space, the dense forest spots make a stealthy, defensive positioning kinda easy as well.
Thus allowing the Zhi-9WA to roam freely on the edges of it's secured zone. That is where the german ground forces come into play. If they don't gather enough intel or neutralize the AAs and especially the AAV with its gun/aa spamfest, it's gonna be a risky time for the Tiger crew to hunt the opponents CAS down over enemy/unknown territory.

Nothing impossible tho, that's why PR is so fun.

As good as it is to say X can support Y to take out Z. But to say you get perfect teamwork every round of PR is a shit yarn.

I highly doubt that this layer will get played. It will probably be black listed along with Beirut alt.

The Z9 needs to dive towards Puma to kill (not HJ- 8) and requires 50% of its rockets to hit to secure a kill. Close misses deal almost no damage.
