are we going to get Magnifiers or still getting the Elcan?

a combination of the aimpoint comp m4 with and without the 3x magnifier.

Dutch Army uses the comp m4 + magnifiers, that is what we will get in game indeed.

how did you observed all proportions? Used drawings?

Yes, I used a drawing as reference. Other then that I know the length of the rifle and I had the PR C7's which I could use for scaling purposes.

This rifle will really give a new feel for the missing dutch forces,i remember in v1.2,they used to have silenced M4s for some kits,hoping to see the silenced version for this one.

Are you making new texture sheet/UV for the main body as well or going to use existing C7/AR15 ones?

Anantdeathhawk, I think you mean the HK-416. As far as I know there never was a silenced C8 or C7 for the Dutch. Also, M4 is not in use with the Dutch Armed Forces.

[R-DEV]Mats391, the receiver needs to be retextured and while doing that one might as well retexture the barrel and the Magazine. Not only to improve the models quality, but also because the diemaco rifles received a new darker coat when they were being upgraded.

I will definitely update the receiver's UV Map, since they dont make much sense now. It has high res texture on hardly vissible spots but low res maps on the places you wil see most... So yes, I will change the existing UV-Maps even though the texture artist might have to tweak my maps a little to make everything perfect.

Navo, all right, didn't know that. I guess I will take it next time I play Dovre on the Dutch side.

Camo & arjan, no worries. The butt stock can be extended and shortened at will since the stock and the tube are just 2 attached parts that can still be separately selected in element mode. I will make a couple of screenshot's for the next update.
