Well they are pretty good all things considered. BF2 is 11 years old the sound engine is pretty limited in its abilities, if you have ever noticed lots of times the sound will drop out all together, usually when auto cannons fire. It doesn't help the BF2 has a limited number of ROF for weapons.FlOwMaKeRs wrote:+1 this.
Those who say the sounds are actually good/realistic seems like they never heard a gun before.
I hope one day someone is dedicated to create a sound mod for the weapons, Because the recent ones we have now sound like old toys.. even the BF2 default ones.. some guns sounds better.
Though I don't know what is up with the .50cals, at least in 1.3 the 3rd person sounded very strange.
