Alternatively, the MEC could be equipped with AK-74 series weapons, since I consider them as a sort of 'in-between' the Militia/Insurgents and Russian Forces in terms of their tech (more advanced than militia/insurgents but less advanced than Russia).

This is just Russia. Again, why do you want MEC with AKs so much?

G3 is part of the backbone of MEC superiority in this mod. If I am to decide, I'd rather keep it than put some AKs

The Official language of both Syria and Iraq is Arabian. And both nations are part of the Arab league. So there is an argument that they actually are Arabic.

MEC forces are Iran forces.You can look at wiki battlefield 2 that:

"The MEC is a military alliance of Arabic-speaking nations situated in the Middle East. It is unknown which Middle Eastern states were members of the Coalition at the time of Battlefield 2. However, locations mentioned as being under MEC control include, but are not limited to, areas in the Arabian Peninsula, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, and Syria."

But the real truth is that MEC forces-Iranian forces.But for political and other reasons,it could not be inserted in game.I already wrote it somewhere in the forum,so I do not repeat myself.
By inserting China forces problems have created,for company........

There's no real flame on your screen, it's just magic

MEC is what map requires it to be, it is Iran if map is set in Iran,
it is Iraq if map is set in Iraq, it is Syria if map is set in Syria.
Plain and simple.
If you try too hard to give too much sense to MEC you'll end up with permanent brain damage.

G3 is awesome, no conventional faction uses battle rifle as a main gun,
so there's that, it is not common in third world countries such as AK variants,
or FAL for that matter, but it is still widespread.

I am for MEC subfactions, but what is the point if we'll have another AKM/AK-47 faction?
If someone would model, or tweak current AR family of rifles model, to look more like
Iranian M16A1 derivative, to give it to some elite MEC subfaction, that would be awesome,
but then someone would say why you just don't make Iranian faction and delete MEC,
like million times before...

Ask me, give MEC that G3 variant with collapsible stock that was intended for Norwegian faction.

HK11/HK13 or HK21/HK23 (for MEC AR) for the alternative win-! Don't need AK-series and its way too much-

Idea of MEC subbranches for ME national armies (Iran, Iraq, Egypt?, Oman? and Syria until we get SAA faction) actually doesn't sound that bad, if done properly of course.

That just sounds like national armies, not branches of a fictional alliance.

Sounds bad if it's just going to be MEC but with AKs
