Good idea, but I´d rather have people work on getting the community together for CnC games once a week on pub servers than this. Like a regular Saturday mid-day clash on one of the bigger servers. Maybe HoG or something.

Mistakes here are even harsher punished in your mode, ambushes absolutely deadly. The server population is too small to effectively scout. Many maps have too much brush and stuff for mistakes and hap-hazard clashes not to happen.


I think if anything, your idea would be good for Vehicle Mode on open maps with relatively few surprises.
Overall you can´t really just demand for the community to "work better together." And again, if this wasn´t a regular mode but a rare event, I´d rather play CnC.

ah yeah, would perfect for PR :P acific if its exist dropping hella torpedo into carriers. Would like to see that too but well HardCode i guess :|

I believe not all maps could support the "hardcore" layout. It will also be very painful to play with newcommers because theyll immediately ram the most expensive asset into the enemie position and die in a horrible explosion, costing your team 50% of tickets and ending the game quickly.

Buuuut people will learn and admins warn and kick noobs or griefers into oblivion.

Devs could insert a few selected maps with the new "hardcore" layout and let admins inject them from time to time into the map rotation, testing them out on live servers at the most logical time there is: when all the old stagers are online ... who have >13 years PR experience and play almost every da ... lets leave it there.

Objective: Drain the opposing team from tickets

Alright so the gamemode consists of the following:
Both teams have a VIP, killing the VIP drains the enemy team from 150 tickets and then the VIP role switches to a random person who will have a pistol, Binos, bodyarmor a radio and surrender hands/ salute. You can still take away enemy tickets by killing their troops and destryoing their assets.

The role of the VIP is:

1.-Survive
2.-Visit allied FOBs

The role of FOBs:
In the initial 15 minutes both teams will have time to make FOBs before the first VIPs appear. The VIP has to visit these FOBs and every time he visits a FOB tickets will be taken away from the enemy team. The amount of tickets taken away depends on how far away these FOBs are from the nearest friendly FOB. So if a VIP visits a FOB and the nearest one is say 150 meters away then the enemy team will lose 15 tickets and he wont be able to visit that FOB again until he visits another 2 FOBs (so this means there will have to effectively be 3 FOBs active for the VIP to have a "route" and continously visit FOBs). If a FOB is say 1km away then the opposing team will lose 100 tickets.

To know where the VIP is the game will mark on the map the last FOB visited by the VIP with a blue cache marker. So teams will have to do recon to effectively find the other FOBs and try to intercept the VIP or simply destroy the FOBs so the VIP has nowhere to visit at all.

If this seems too complicated for teams to be properly organized then make it so one team is the one with a VIP while the other solely concentrates on offense, somewhat like INS where instead of caches its VIP visits to FOBs and the insurgents get infinite tickets. So that way insurgents will switch to an offensive role instead of defensive unlike on INS and bluefor will have to be constantly on the move and defending their FOBs
