Its Standard in an ambulance but its not standard for a medic to carry around a defrib, the thing is, soldiers usually dont have heart attacks or heart stoppages without some kind of hole in them to cause it, so a defrib isnt that important... i wonder why they are including it

I think that because in hollywood defribs are allways used to bring back the dead, therfore it represents reviving dead people. I suppose its easier to implement than having a medic come round and perform field surgery on you in game.

Id rather have a scalpel(sp) to perform field surgery... itd be much more usefull at attacking the enemys... much sharper than your average K-bar.

Interesting idea. You could become a wannabe Hannibal.

perhaps you could use your portable defribulator to cook up some steaks that you cut out with your scalpel.... Project Reality: The Cooking Mod

no but i think that that portable defibrillator is for rebringing the dead alive before they respawn.

Every play joint operations: Typhoon rising, you have 2 counters. 1 counter is time till respawn and another counter is time left until a medic can no longer revive you, you can either respawn elsewhere or wait for a medic if you know one is nearby. It's nice to respawn at the frontline.

Ah very similar to MP Wolfenstein ET, where you can stick a downed soldier with a siringe of adrenaline to revive them.

I know wotcha mean man, I played the demo for bout 10min, then got sick of it, looked to much like a revamp of the good 'ol DF:Blackhawk Down. A mate who bought it said it's mad though, so might take another look at the full vrsn next time I'm 'round at his

Well atleast they are using are ideas somewhat and are trying to change the game more instead of having another bfv which felt like a mod of 1942.

Hopefully they add blood to BF2..even thought their are the younger players you could have an option to turn it on or off.
