i agree entirely, only probelm is the only missions of theres we know about were there VIP protection jobs (they guarded Schwarzkopf in GWI, and did similar missions to that of the SAS like the famed Bravo Two Zero,) other than that we know virtually nothing of what theyve done

that being said if the focus of this mod (or even if it isnt) is on the Middleeastern confilcts thatve actually happened id like to make maps tailored to those units as well as others id really like to make maps based off of Generation Kill
SFOD-D did have some fairly well-documented operations in Panama and Grenada in addition to the SCUD hunt as part of the Joint Special Operations Task Force in ODS.

The Rangers also conducted a demolition raid on an Iraqi microwave communications installation as part of the JSOTF. I suggested that scenario as a map for DC a long while back, and proposed doing it for PR, but we'll see.

the Bravo Two Zero comment i made was reffering to the Scud hunt in ODS, but yea those would be cool map ideas, i think the Seal Team 6 "Radio Station Op" in Greneda would make a cool map idea for PR, maybe a little out dated but never the less a legendary Op as far as Spec Ops missions go, id like to see alot of Search and Destry/Capture maps in PR, i think Objective maps if done properly could be fantastic fun

Even though Conquest maps are fun, Objective maps would be great if done right, stuff like taking out enemy airfields, fuel depots, weapon catches, take over towns, etc. would be neat. The maps would need to big though, we couldnt have several objectives on a regular size BF2 map in my opinion... Say something like a large version of America's Army might be fun where you have several large Objectives and a bunch of smaller ones.
