The problem is that you can't make terrain go over an static, or it'll fill it. So, that rock, is actually a stactic. Just gonna add a few more then.

lol, that nuke is actually mistextured... gonna have to make a custom texture and dirty it up a little bit.

Now a little issue I had with a water static.
In the editor it looks ok. But ingame it looks like this:

Any idea how to fix this?

Very nice, i love you man, no really i do! i cannot wait to play it!!! people are gonna get pahooned on that map lol!
And er, about the water issue, i have no idea, maybe it'll be fixed when you do lightmaps ?

you need to generate the lightmaps for the water plane.

Maybe in a later version of this Map you can use a Forward CAS Harrier, you know the ones they hide on the forests and... forget it lol, Very Nice Map, a Map with British in is always a map for me

Knife, don't really think harrier will work. Not even choppers. It's just too small, definitily infantry based.

and uh.. gonna change that "china style" font

are you going to use that for your actual minimap? becuase I don't think it will fit in very well.
otherwise, the map looks great so far, just add some more detail in the farmland area, maybe take some of those object used in operation phoenix

That looks much better. I'll send you a .psd if necessary, cause those grids will be removed (PR already has it's on in-game grids, had forgotten it)

this is beautiful work venon, loved the farm
try using lots of custom statics. main boring thing about PLA maps is the saaaaame ooold statics hehe

Meh, all the maps are starting to look alike. For MEC/insurgent maps and chinese maps. We need some new shit. More stuff like Helmand province. That map has such a fresh look to it, god its so awesome. It gives an update to the tired out desert/urban feel that we see so much. I really hope we start seeing some of these more "dynamic" maps they have been talking about soon, same ol` static maps are getting old.

About the named areas...
Just use the names that are already in...
Farmlands, Temple,etc...
And probably the words you don't understand will be named inside the .psd

I tried to to the same thing I did to the other picture but it don't look good without the grind, so I made a few others:
