Im not quite getting why people think the RPG insurgent should have a better weapon. It would be WAR VETERAN all over again! He had a G3 and a flippin RPG!
Also, please understand that this is a reality mod and so this class is going to represent the stereotypical version of that unit. What does it matter if you can come up with a picture of an insurgent with a kevlar vest and M4? Thats a minority represented there. Otherwise military issue spoons would have been implemented

The thing is, your not meant to be jumping in to rip up some US/GB troops with bullets, you hang behind the insurgents and jump out and fire an RPG at their general direction then run back, meybe waste a second shot on them too, depending on how close they are to each other. If you feel that you'd be better used against armour, why not you and a couple of other RPG gunners set a road side ambush and wait for armour to go past them knock 'em in the back?
With classes such as RPG gunner, you need to rely on some elements of stealth and terrain, not your mingun.

all i can say is get better with the pistol, Mongolian and I often say how well we do when we only have a pistol. somehow it focusses the mind seeing 3 enemy soldiers who admittedly haven't seen you yet and you have to take them all out with a pistol becuse that APC has just rolled into view.
Leave it as it is. If you make the kit more popular i dont get it as much as i do now

Mongolian your blowing this way out of proportion. We don't want an assault rifle for pete sakes. We don't want a weapon to go out an kill people with. We just want something more effective than the current pistol. Mainly for defensive purposes. A light Short ranged based SMG or a stronger pistol. Right now my opinion on ALL the pistol is that they are all weak and slow. I'm sure the rest of the people who really play the class would understand that something better should be given.

i think also a light SMG or a better Pistol would be a lot better, also since all other factions have Rifles and light antitanks, so at least give the insurgents a scorpion or a Zastava CZ 999 both have already been done by your BlackSandStudio Friends of OPK (a UZI i think would also be realistic, as common as it is)

I disagree. Besides increasing the accuracy of the insurgent RPGs the RPG gunner class should not be changed at all. You do know that RPGs can be used on infantry right?
Edit: Although improving pistols in general might be nice.

He was just complaining that he could't kill infantry as RPG gunner because his pistol sucked. I was suggesting(almost sarcasticly) that RPGs could be used on infantry.

i understand that the RPG can kill people. But i dont know how many times ive heard people say "Is the RPG the new noob tube". if i had a better side arm i would rather use that then waste the two grenades on infantry. as the only long range anti-armour the grenades should be conserved for that purpose not just killing infantry.

I think rpg gunner shouldnt even have a pistol. How many insurgents have pistols?. Just give them 3 rpgs. 2 is not enough considering that they have alot of deviation. the insurgent rpg gunner has three rpgs anyway.(two on him and one in the launcher)

1) Knife
2) RPG (1+1 shots)
3) Thats it
Not even Binoculars. Piloceman should get Nocs if you ask me, since would be more likely to obtain them from 'The force'.

in irak most insurgents has rpg with 2 or more shoots , i say:
-machete

-smg (1+0)
-rpg(1+2)
also a heavy AT for insurgens would be:
-knife
-rpgs dualhead (1+2)
and a light at
-ak(1+1)
-rpg (1+0)

do you think about the stuff you say Mongolian?
if this is supposed to be a "realism" based mod thats far from it. You have to think not everyone is a team player. We all wish they were but you cant just make a class that is useless unless you partner up with someone to defend your ***. I like those ideas 77SiCaRiO77. The like that even if it was just the clip in the gun it would give me something better than the pistol.

I think the insurgent RPG guy should get 3 rounds, and an old pistol. (pistols are not uncommon)
