also i think the movemtn speed for joggin should be slowed to a quick walk, i agree with all that.
The gun is not folded up in your arms. you dont go forward in prone on your elbows if thats how your thinking? shooting from stationary prone is perfectly fine - one leg further up to set your torso on the angle right to hold the gun and legs fairly well spaced apart, abdominals tensed and hold your breath in is the standard best way to aim without an extra prop.

moving forwards whilst in prone done by the book requires you to move forarms flat on the floor. and whilst you all know this, it is still possible to shoot but obviously at nothing when your moving prone fast which is why realistic weapon sway would solve this problem. when moving very slowly forward it is also possible to keep your gun up and keep your aim on fairly easily. IMO there is no reason to disable functions that are possible in real life but just make them as equally hard to perform (as best is possible).

Some times making them "as best is possible" is disabling them. I've said it before and I'll say it again. DICE didnt not make this engine for the modder, they made it for them. So there is usually just the bare minimums to run the game. I think when Frosty and I were working together, I asked him about Accuracy or recoil or something while in different stances, and BF2 did not distinguish between standing and kneeling lol.

When recoil is actually set the way it should be. BF2 engine as it is cannot be altered to make recoil change for different stances.
The only work around is to alter to unrealistic spread which is currently implemented in the game - which is not good at all.
I hope there is a way to code out of the editing package and get around this major problem.

IRT to terribleone, regarding my comments:

Yes, i agree with how it should be, but the fact is, currently in bf2, when you move foward when prone, the animation is basically the same as the fast moving while prone animation in AA, your gun is folded up along with your arms.

Difference between AA and BF2 being, you have to stop and wait for your guy to unfold his gun in AA, in BF2, you can hold the trigger and move foward if you want, the guy has superhuman torso and arm strenght and just keeps his entire upper body perfectly straight while his legs wiggle him along...

go screw around with the animations in the bf2 editor, and you will see that 40% of them need help.
