tsk tsk tsk, "Acceptable tactic, I sleep sound at night"
Bunny Hop me once, shame on you. Bunny Hop me twice, shame on you.

I'll bunny hop if I'm trying to knife somebody and they turn around and start running backward shooting at me. But that's it.

ahh, hunting bunnys is fun especially when they realize that they did all that hopping in vain, as my bullets strike them dead.

True
Eventhough I have to confess that I sometimes catch myself hitting the spacebar when under fire from an unknown direction... old vanilla habit

Best way to knife someone is to Sprint at them, Go Prone and look up.
Gets them all the time.

Bunny hoping is an acceptable tactic for one thing and one thing only... defeating prone spammers.

baaaah. the point is, we have a dive. why dont we have a dive? have you ever seen some soldier hopping around? they do exactly what u can do: sprint => prone. its unestethic (wha, spelling error?) and foremost shitty. if you get caught in the open you did summat wrong => die like a man

.
anyway, to me its not a matter of great concern. bunnyhoppers dont move fast. easy to get em with a nade or run after them like hell and pop em
still, if possible, it should be taken out in order to enhance the real life feeling pr already gives you to a great extent.

Bunny hoppers are wankers. It will not serve to improve their tactical skills and will only leave them relying on a childish technique to hope they do not get shot.
When under fire, I have seen many "hoppers" actually leap into the path of bullets. I repeat: wankers.

If you can't kill a bunny hopper you should uninstall the game immediately. I can't believe we're addressing this.
What's next? No more sprinting from side to side
"ARGHHH!! I can't hit him when he runs sideways! Fix it mods! Fix it in .06!!!"

""What's next? No more sprinting from side to side""
It's not possible to sprint from side to side.

It's not possible to sprint from side to side.
You hold sprint, then forward, and move your mouse side to side.

Bunny hopping in a gun fight is gay, like 1v1. I will however throw in an evasive jump or two for the last few steps when I'm running across a street or open area as I reach cover like in the movies. Some may call it cheap but I could give a shit when I'm still alive because of it.
I didn't vote as there was no suitable option, as usual with polls.

I think that's sprinting forward in different directions - the artist formerly known as "dodging".
The MCC mod for BF2 increases the jump distance, so it's tweak-able. What would be necessary here for PR with a tweak would be to not effect the horizontal distance (for leaping gaps in buildings in Muttrah, for i.e.) and to allow small obstacles (low walls, etc.) to still be jump-able.

GRAW actually has a slide function for sliding into cover, but no jump.
PR really just needs a tap-dancing and break-dancing function to sate the desire of all these hoppers to show off their funky moves.

Yea, as BF2 movement is limited so I improvise.

I read somewhere thats the way to dodge snipers, it was a "dance" or something.
The bunny hoping may keep you alive, but it's down right low.

The trick will be to not settle in to a repeating pattern - you must speed up and slow down (not too slow!), change directions seemingly randomly... (similar to the way the way that people must walk on sand randomly [emulating the wind on the sand's surface] to not attract the giant monster/worm thingies in the "Dune" books for those who may have read them...) anything predictable and patterned can be pre-empted...
snipers are voyeurs

I simply love bunnies, there is almost nothing more fun then to headshoot a bunny hopper while he is in the air. They are doing awesome figures when they got killed in the air, much better than from grenade.
Although, game would look much mature without bunnies, but while they are in there, I would simply try to get everything best from them.

I love to kill them.... really I do.
I may have played a bad round but if just 1 of my kills is a hopper I sleep soundly at night knowing I've made the world a better place.
