Specialty Kit: French Soldier
ba dum dum!
Seriously though, the only way I could see individual surrender working would be like so.
30 sec after individual surrender, you are sent to wait in a prison screen, a la AA's brig.
This prison must be incorperated into the map somehow, a destructable structure or a cap'able flag. If the structure is destroyed or flag capped, prisoners are free to immediately respawn. Kinda like jail break.
If a surrendering player is killed the other team also loses tickets for the dishonorable act and that individual is free to respawn wait free.
Surrendering does not remove tickets from a teams count, only prevents a player from respawning until his jail is liberated. That would be the only incentive I can see so far. Having an active jail with prisoners would give another flag to gaurd, add some spice to the game.
Surrendering players are no longer visible on their teams map/radar. They appear on the opfors map as yellow dots.
Might as well introduce a new specialty kit: MP
You are able to take critically wounded enemies as prisoners.
Now, taking prisoners from the battle field reduces the size of the enemy force until they do a jail break.
Anywho, this could be developed further, but chances are it'll turn out impossible thanks to the versitile BF2 engine. That and it might add a game dynamic that is not fun.. being prisoner on a team thats too crappy to jail break you.
