I play on the Devfile Al Basrah 24/7 a lot. You might find me on iGi or TacticalGamer every once in a while.

I have been noticing more and more squads are using TS or not talking at all. Past few nights i have played I kept talking over VOIP but never once was acknowledged, and this was in several differnet squads. It truly does take everything away from the game. I only like to play with squad mates that work together and communicate.

would it be possible, that the SL could only order a SL kit and no other ?

i noticed that too. is it coz of the vast amount of probs with bf2 voip? or do those guys don't have a nick? in fact, in vBF2 i almost never have voip activated since im always in ts and it's no use anyway since TP doesn't really exist there. maybe all new to PRMM? dunno.

I am jinxed on the squadleader part. whenever i get the officer kit.. i tend to end up dead.... fast....

BF2 is the second game I've ever played online, the first was F.E.A.R. I'm more or less NEW thanks.

Can you touch type???? Well before i got a mike, as SL, i would spend almost as much time typing to get got my bldy squad members to re-group and attack together as actualy moving and fighting. But in the end, the bullying got to great, they just kept of saying "whn are you going to get ......", again and again, but i held strong and resisted the temptation for as long as i could, but the pressure of X-mas time was too great and i fell, from my rock of non VOIP and came crashing down to through the mist of silence into the world of .............well you will have to just go and get a mike to find out what it is like! ;-)

p.s i have this mike/ headset and it ROCKS": http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... /ref=nosim, it is alittle pricey, but i do recomend checking out Sennheiser range, recomend any online store that looks marginely legit!! WAY

Mine are either terribe or excellent, and most of the excellent ones use VOIP. If I happen into a squad with a terrible SL, I just make my own squad. I like to think that I am a good SL, but I have never gotten any comments.
