I like planes and helicopters too but it makes you want to slap someone when there is so many just waiting around to fly.
It's a friggin shame because the aircraft are like flies to shyt when it comes to attracting 'nilla smacktards.
It's the old phrase" you can't mod the players" !
No matter what the DEV's do to increase teamwork the little spoiled children still have to monopolize the toys.
I would really like to see a Al Basrah with no planes and no Cobras, with maybe some ARTY to make up for the loss of CAS.
And as the windshield melts
My tears evaporate
Leaving only charcoal to defend.
Finally I understand the feelings of the few.

The way I see it, let them switch to USMC... more targets to hit with an RPG.

I had kicked this one guy THREE times for teamswitching, I finally joined his squad and said to him "If you teamswitch back to USMC one more time to fly the A10 your going to be gone for 24 hours" I have never seen him in the server again :)

that is just sad that, they are too braindead to realise it's not about the toys, there is much fun to be had as insurgent (when noobs arent wasting spawn cars)

Teamswitchers need to go back to vanilla.

Along with people who join my armor squad and drive off in an Abrams by themselves.

Good time to point out that I've changed my name to Wasteland-PR0.5
Also wanted to point out the fact that I didn't teamswitch.

Carry on.

Oh yeah, and my 10-5 KDR with 50 TW points isn't bad.

I rock.
Though sometimes I wish I could teamswitch over to US. I just love running spec ops incursions behind enemy lines to take out their assets. But I don't, because that would make me one of the people I hate.

I for one am guilty of teamswitching, but this is because of the mod itself. I cannot stand the new Chinese weapons so i stay the hell away from their team. I either leave or swap over to USMC because i always get at least a 2v1 KDR with the trusty M16. The game just isn't fun with the little pop guns (that's how they feel and act when I'm using them...) that the little chinamen are running around with.

Yup, cant see a reason why some people over here so much want to crusify troops who swap sides, I have swapped many times for multiple reasons but never because I would not just like to play with those weapons or vehicles etc. etc.

In Muttrah I have been asked to come as a pilot, helping some pals or noobs to get in the game which are in same teamspeak etc. etc. Even though this is reality mod you are not any kind of elite people. Do not judge if you dont know what is happening.

Cry me a river.

A lot of players (such as I,) don't always want to play as a certain faction. I always teamswitch to Insurgents when I can. I also hate playing as the PLA.

I dunno why people swtich to USMC in Basrah most times???? I dont get it - Insurgents is just AS fun as USMC - BUT, with different tactics. I personally think it's a LOT more satisfying killing hardware much more superior to your tools.

I'll teamswitch if the other side is getting their *** kicked and I have nothing to do because they can't advance past the village but I can't fly due to lag so I don't care about the US toys, although I do like Armor.

To all the "teamswitching isn't bad" people, it's not bad on most occasions. But on Al Basrah, especially on the DevFile server, you get people that ALWAYS go USMC. And it's pathetic. And ruins the game. Those people are whores. They camp the airport and start shooting their shitty pilot pistol at you when you beat them to the cobra. I hate them.

Also, the PLA gun's awesome. Especially the rifleman and officer ones, with scope attachment. Just because it's not loud doesn't make it bad.

that just about sums it up tbh.
You are ruining other peoples games because you teamswitch.
I was on iGi the other day on MEC, round ended and teams were swapped and I was US, then some fag swaps to US, (probably wanted to camp the essex for planes) and I find myself on MEC again, I dont mind playing any side but I do not like playing the same side twice, especially not on Gulf of Oman.
I figured it was probably a noob Top-Gun wannabe who would die soon so I swapped back as soon as I got the opportunity and hopefully the right guy got auto'd back to MEC.

On basrah it's a joke, it ends up being about 30:15 in favour of the US to begin with, then it balances out.

Desertfox should ban people for a week that consistently do it.

QFT

I normally stay on the insurgents side when I play Basrah. So much fun
