Well the GHoundz south didn't work extremely well. But it was pretty good having only forum members, durring the few times people were on.
1) I'm amazed how cheap the gaming populace is. Have any of you tried an actual sport or hobby outside of gaming? A dollar a month to engage in a hobby is extremely reasonable. Stop being ridiculous.
2) The "cost" is more of a barrier to entry than a payment. It causes people to go that extra mile to get a quality server. People who's only intention is to whore kits and vehicles typically won't go that extra mile.
3) Passwords could be given on a specifically created forum via email. Not here.
4) YOU DO NOT HAVE TO JOIN THE PASSWORD/PAYMENT SERVERS TO PLAY THE GAME. Lets re-read this over and over until we all understand it.
5) The current situation sucks. And according to most posters, every feasible alternative that's been brought to the table also 'sucks'. It's looking like my time on this board is getting limited, each and every day it's nothing but a bunch of whiney, adolescent bitching. No one has suggestions, no one likes anyone else's suggestions, no one can brainstorm new ideas, yet they do nothing but complain.
6) I'm tempted to rent a server and give out the password to those that agree with me for free. Just b/c I can afford it and it'd be worth it just to spite some of you negative, pessimistic creeps.
