SL for the most part. Often end up defending an unguarded flag these days (especially when there is no commander to organise the sqds), but I prefer roaming behind enemy lines with a small sqd.

Avoiding contact and keeping radio silence (not VOIP silence) and popping up to catch the enemy in crossfires and taking out enemy rally points and armour.

Going way, way, waaaaaaay behind enemy lines as spec ops. Specially on Chinese maps with plenty of vegetation. Ill make a widest circle possible, sometimes Ill go to the very edge of the map. Than I sneak around avoiding every contact possible until I locate a rally point. If I succeed and take out maybe 2 of them, than the flag falls easily.

Medic-ing. Keeping an eye on the health of my squadmates and letting them know they need first aid when they don't even realise it. Although it doesn't happen as often as I'd like, nothing beats taking out the hostile who has just killed a squadmate, then reviving and getting the thanks on VOIP.

Taking flags is my thing, going from one point to another. Mostly following my squadleader around.

Either being a dedicated medic, support, or a grenadier. Gotta love launchin a nade 200 yards and nailing somebody in the chest. God i love this game.

Avoiding combat.

Whether Squad Leader or Squad member, picking a path that avoids enemy confrontation while taking out enemy assets (and/or flag capping) is - to my mind - the most gratifying squad activity. Second on that list is zone defence. Holding an area or providing support to prevent flanking maneouvres by the enemy is one of the unsung activities squads can undertake, and can make a huge difference to the tactical flow of the game.

If I have a preferred kit it's the medic. In a game like this you are always kept busy.

Most of the time I'm a medic, trying to do the best I can to help my squad (and other teammembers, if they are near and hurt). If the coast looks clear, I smoke the area and storm towards my teammates, trying to heal/revive them as quickly and safely as I can. SL has top priority in these situations.

I like to be SL from time to time. Trying to keep good comms with my squadmembers and the commander, assign clear tasks and set up good RP's (though I don't always succeed in these things, I'm doing the best I can).

Medic, squad leader, rifleman, heavy AT, IED ambusher, DM, LB pilot, attack helo pilot or gunner, tanker, or sniper.

But what I've been digging on most lately has been taking a squad on a demolitions run in Al Basrah to destroy insurgent assets.

Seek & Destroy on rally points is a pretty good time, albeit usually a really dangerous one. I like playing medic too as it's a really different playing style.

Being a commander and winning the round 1-0... you know that someone on the other side was doing the exact same at commanding his troops too.

yeah, whatever i do it HAS to be with someone else that can communicate to some extent. Be it two man sniping with kennway, cobraing with Hobbs or ground pounding with Bob.dob and co.

-Leading/Coordinating a squad deep in enemy territory and setting up rear OP's and LUP's to flank/sabotage/observe from... (ooh SOFLAMS and RallyPoints what would I do without you <3)
-Leading/Coordinating inter-squad fireteams with respect to soldier formations and team objectives...
-Leading/Coordinating massive inter-squad mobile armour convoys on large maps...
-Leading/Coordinating a full squad of cold blooded explosive suicide jihadis
-Setting up ambush points with controlled explosives! IEDs, C4, Claymores, it's all good!
-Leading/Coordinating strikes with air support! A-10s, Su-25s, Cobra's, Havoc's, it's all good!
-Playing in a gung ho VOIP squad that is more interested in manoevres, formations and tactics then getting frags, stats (and to a lesser extent sometimes even certain flags)
-Having a good laugh!

Developing squad SOP's and Comms discipline.
Slotting people who think 1 crewman in a tank will work.
Slotting people who go deep into urban areas with armoured vehicles.
SL work, with interdiction of reinforcements a favourite.
Special Ops and Demolition work and very unconventional warfare with unconventional classes. (you know what i mean RFAD public regulars)
Pistol Practice.

Mongol, Blind, Dr_Rank, Squidy, Popa, Tbone, Wormeaten, Thomaskunze nd others afeature a lot in my favourite activites in PR.

Sounds like Bob.Dob likes to indulge in the same things as I, i shalt have to hook up with him soon... bring him along to the right side mongol next tourney

- Being a crewmember of a fully-manned MBT with VOIP
- Ambushing the SUV with explosives
- Leading a successful assault on a CP
- Blowing up armor when it drives over my C4

Being spec-ops and destroying the insurgents spawn cars...God they get so mad LOL

Being in a good squad that actually works together, not just making it a 6 person race to the next objective.

I also like sneaking around on my own sometimes as spec ops, especially on maps with a lot of cover. You can say that's not being a team player but when you're blowing up rally points and causing that much confusion behind the other team I think it helps a lot more than a headless chicken who happens to be running around with 5 other players.
