The A-10B (NAW) was in production. The Viper however killed the production of it, only two were ever made; one crashed into a museum.

I don't like the A10 myself. It promotes lone wolfing. I'd like to see the A10 replaced with F15s and other two seater planes.

Yeah me too, or the pilot should be in a squad with a squad leader who is an officer or something so they can designate areas.

No he should not becuase squad to squad communication is almost impossible, even with an SL, espicially when squad members must communicate with other squad memebrs in different squads or other SLs and squad leaders have total and utter responsibilty for all the squad memebrs IF they follow orders - therefore their lives directly rely on the quality and quanity of the orders SL give.
However it is impossible for a squad leader to give both a high number and high quality orders TOO BOTH squad members on the ground and those in the air.
Therefore overall, the use of a seperate A10 squad with the A10 pilot as SL allows for the best communication with CO and therefore other squad leaders who need airsupport, becuase the CO can comm directly with the A10 pilot, not to the SL and onto the A10 pilot.
The fact he does not have to look after the lives of any other men directly, he is capable of putting eveything into keeping himself and his aircraft alive and hitting targets!
It is all about sharing recources amung the squads best, and a seperate A10 squad does it best.

'[R-MOD wrote:eddie']Someone's forgetting this is a reality mod. AFAIK no A-10 to date has a secondary seat, for spotters or otherwise.
We do a lot of things that are more for gameplay than reality. Respawning, shock paddles, unlimited ammo bags, etc.
Of course, if more people would step up and give commanding a shot, you wouldn't need this.

If there Saying that they will want 2 Seat Fighters lol The F-15E (Ground attack Version So you know) Is not widely used, most ground attacks in Iraq during first and second Gulf were Carryd out By A-10s and F-18s and id think it would be the same in the Future with the F/A-18 as the F-15E is not very Good at ground attack it was Merely a "Stop Gap".
My Question is though if the Devs will use The f-35 what use for the Harrier Gr9 is there? And my Suggestion is that you guys stop asking for 2 Seat Bombers to Stop " Lone Wolfing" The is a Reality Mod if you have Forgot and if a Plan does not have 2 Seats in reality Dont Expect one in here!

What!?
Did you like just make that up or something?
During the beginning of the first Gulf war, 22 F-15Es were among the first aircraft performing bombing runs on Iraq. The F-15E also performs its mission very well with its ability for long-range interdiction of enemy ground targets deep behind enemy lines with numerous succesful missions. Don't know what "facts" you were basing your assumptions on that the F-15E is not a good strike fighter. If it did not do its job well, the USAF wouldn't use it

F-14's were used in the gulf war who cares if they were de-commisioned they should be added, and offcourse yer 2 seater planes promote teamwork and also there just more fun. And yer Special Ops should be able to designate targets aswell as officers.

The F/A 18F super hornet is a two seater - a perfect choice for the marines. Throw in the Su30, Su34 and F15E and you have most covered. A Panavia Tornado for the Brits and you're sorted.
Personally I would always prefer that ANY ingame vehicle require two and two only players to function (which is why having the A10 et al and a driver position in tanks and apcs as opposed to a commander/gunner combo is detrimental to the gameplay imho)
The problem is that the choices have long been made so we have to work within the limits of one player operated Harriers, Frogfoots and Warthogs. Hardly ideal but we're stuck with it.
