I would gladly join the firing squad.

Maybe you don't know this but...the teamplay back in the days before ABR were the days. You had those that wanted team play only...

IMO, NO scores is the biggest filter of them all.

TAKE OUT SCORING ALL TOGETHER!!!

in irl you arent fighting for score, you are trying to defeat your enemy and not die.

No scoring huh,.......ah, back to the simpler BF1942/mod days when bragging rights came down to just winning the map. Not allot of team switching back then because you wanted to beat them again, or get revenge for your loss.

I hate that people care so much about stats, it's like the player on a team that celebrates the goal they scored at the end of a game when they end up losing 5-1.

Stats are of no consequence in a battle only winning and losing, and living to tell about it.

Couldn't agree more. I started a squad for myself and one other guy from my clan to go blow up cars on Al bas. A few more people joined and we ended up killing a lot of cars and then moving into help cap spawns. I had a lot of fun trying to lay down rally points, laying down sup fire, and relaying what the commander was saying. It says a lot about a war game when you can enjoy the noncombat elements, like transporting infantry into the combat zone.

I agree completely with winning over having a good score. To remove the scores could help reduce lone wolves but I doubt it. If a player is predispossed to going solo the lack of scores isn't going to make them suddenly change into the a team player. He or she will probably believe that racking up allot of kills is "helping" the team regardless of score and continue to do so.

Get rid of the scoring but don't act surprised when you see the lone wolves still. Oh and I am guilty of checking the squad scores at the end of the round, I like it when the team work pays off in a good squad score

Yes, like driving the tank. You won t get any points, but its just fun trying to stay allive and work together with your gunner. (did that yesterday first time, never cared much for tanks.)
I always try to win the round, but if we don t i m not all that disappointed, as long as our team didn t suck to much and we dodn t get @ss raped hard.
Sometimes the other team is just better, often has to do with good sl s.

Seems to me a bigger problem is people playing too hard and getting themselves killed instead of playing tactically and with teamwork...

Exactly, people should be afraid of bullets+rockets.

Well, the commander tries
"We're losing this battle! Start fighting harder or I'll find someone who can!" (wow, I'd hate to hear that when I'm getting shot at)

I really don't see why we need to give a score boost for winning, though. I mean, your win/loss ratio is already tracked, so....
