I'll admit... Deep down I miss the good old * < 0.32 gloryhoundz SOUTH days... had a really solid bunch of regular players in the community in those days... rare if ever you'd come across a smacktard or a **** uncooperative squad... oooh how the PR player community is changing... but that's expected with growth I suppose...

It got really interesting when we started zapping each other too. It seems shock paddles have longer ranges than knives...

I miss .2 zatar wetlands 16p version on Gloryhoundz. I used to check the gloryhoundz home page to see if anybody was in the server. When it got up to like 10 people that was a "full" night. Good times.

there are just a shortage of NA servers with good pings. hoc just recently got a server out of necessity pretty much. we dont like playing basrah all the time and TG is always full and kind of chaotic. glory houndz ive never connected to. my clan has played in there often, but i always try to connect and PR freezes. i have to alt f4 out of bf2.

this is the exact problem alot of other players are having, hence why its not been populated lately

I wish we had these great servers populated again.

Just a little update from my side on server status:
- GH W: the host is investigating the cause of the packet drop issues. It only seems to affect some people and it's usually intermittent, so 1 day it'll be a problem, next day it might not. That obviously ruins the fun.. Working on it.
- GH S: been down because the server was under load and I did not want anybody to have a laggy experience on that server, so took it down

Things are looking up, though, so should have it back online soon.

MEC and USMC learn to live together? Could it be?

Please no. The password is what kill that server. You cannot sustain a server just based on people who are on the forums. After a while, even I couldn't find the password.

I almost never play at GH because of the ping I had there. BUT, I have to admit I haven't joined in a while, since I'm usually playing on iGi, Thor or PTG.
Will try again soon.

GH west was cool unless fuzz and friends were on and u were on the other team. If my team wasnt as organized then I just left rather then stay and get owned. I think TG is better in the sense I feel everyone plays a little bit more tactical then GH. That is my only gripe I also had a great ping of like 16.

Meh... fuzz and friends isn't "teh bestest sauqad evar!!~~~111". We've been beaten alot......
In fact, iirc, my team has won several games where he has been on the other side. Instead of team-switching/bitching when he's on the other team, I just make a squad and try to get some teamwork going.
This isn't to say fuzz isn't the best squad leader in pr.... he is. It's just that nobody can have a perfect win record. And you shouldn't quit just because there is a better player than you on the other side. How do you learn how to play then?

You know what is funny about the TG server. Hardly no one when I am there plays tactically. I had much more teamwork oriented experiences on GHZ than TG.

TG's teamwork is **** usually whenever I've been on.

TG isn't all that. It's usually squads full of TG members and totally random player squads or locked squads. I don't think it lives up to the Tactical name.
Fix GH dammit!

Yes, sir!
btw, to clear up confusion among some:
- GH S is the GH server of old. It's in Texas. Good ping for most of NA, afaik, decent ping for some Europeans, as well
- GH W is a newer server located in California. Good ping for most of NA, afaik, decent ping for some people in Asia/Australia.
