Vanilla BF2 had that feature.

When I first installed it, every time I died, I had a CTD.

I KNOW this is a more violent than an epipen revive... But may I suggest we get a black screen when critically wounded? Ghosting a lot in my experience.
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

lol

But yeah i agree that a black screen should be over critically wounded players. It would make them seem unconceious not knowing what's going on around them.

I guess the suggestion makes sense, since black screen was added when instant death was much more likely. Though black screen also is kinda boring, but I wouldn't mind.

Why can you just not stop doing one of these? Seriously?
You might not be aware of it, but people can have new ideas, and things do change.
How about you let people discuss them without flaming for once?

Anyway, critically wounded is the one when you are lying on the floor waiting for a medic to stab you isn't it?
Not when you are still bleeding out and about to go into the above state?
Kind of makes sense that you shouldn't be able to tell people who is on top of you in that situation. Its exactly what the black screen was added for, AFAIK.
I was agreeing with him...

Did you not read the bottom of the picture you posted?

It came across as flammage to me too.

would be great if there was a way to disable sound when dead, always annoying to walk over a dead body who's screaming to his friends "ONE OF HTEM IS ON EMEE"

There's a suggestion to bring back the "wavy dying affect" when you're almost dead. Perhaps make the "critically wounded" death cam as the wavy effect.

Wavy effect as in the tear gas effects from BF2 vanilla SF

i think that critically wounded effect should like it is now but it should just fade slowly to the black.
so maybe, first you see blood and things but it has started to fade to black.
then at 2 minute 50 sec,it has faded just black and your state is Unconscious state.

Muffle sounds too... :D or have a really annoying clientside moaning and groaning/ gurgling to simulate the fact that you just got your thorax blown through and to stop people from listening to footsteps.
