Maybe until FH2 comes out... I'll still come back and forth to PR but it'd odd playing a WWII mod then go play a 21st mod...

Depends how long I'm stil interested in gaming, once that desire is gone, I shall unfortunatley no longer play PR.
Unitl then...

Sadly, I'm not going to be able to play PR in June, July and August. I'll be in the US with my girlfriend.
Not even daily sex will make up for it.

I'm hoping that the team move the whole thing over to Source or CryEngine 2 at some point

Until EA, or sombody else comes with something better.
Which means.... forever.

I can see myself playing it until there is no one else in the servers

I will play it until I am interested in something else, or Quake Wars (which looks fan-fooling-tastic) comes out.

lol @ people voting 'forever'.
In one year I'll have a look on the memberlist and see who's still there and active.
I bet half of the voters isn't.

If the mod keeps up with different engines etc I don't see why it would be unreasonable for it to last a very long time.
I think people saying 'until quakewars comes out' is stupider though. They are gonna be a tiny little bit different right?...
*EDIT* You guys better start working on a UE3 version of PR as soon as it comes out otherwise I'm going on strike! Who's with me?!

I'll play until "basic" Hardware can play albasrah with 1250 metres View distance at 2560x1280 everything on ultra with 150 FPS, and 0 ping.

Probably one year... I already play much less then I used to play. For some reason it seems there is less teamwork then there use to be... Or getting kicked out of squads for some reason happens a lot too.

6 months. I start my second year of college and the hard part of flying then so I can't really be tied down with a computer game. Plus I need a social life and a new girlfriend.

hhmmm.
I never thought of this.
With time, when the servers can handle it, and players machines can handle it, I guess we will be able to play at settings close to this with 32 vs 32.
Most Intriguing.
So I guess, it is not so much the BF2 engine that is hurting the realism on seeing far distances, it is the fact that most players do not have the sick awsome machine to really push the envolope. Hence, why Al Bas changded its distance with .5 from .4.
hhmmm, most Intriguing
