erm, I was referring to QW, I've seen a few clips of it on you tube I believe...
AND I KNOW W:ET has a realism mod but it has CS like objectives; and there was another one, I believe, FalckonET, but it stopped at 0.5 and their forum is dead...

If only because of the pedigree and success of similar tactical modifications on that platform such as RO and Infiltration. Crysis is another possibility but like Rhino said it is limited in multiplayer, similarly to ETQW - the engine will show its age when it finally arrives and the upper limit in map and player size is quite low. Ideally all the models and skins would be made as modular as possible so that they can be slotted into a new engine without too much effort.
I concure with MR $kelt0r.
PR needs the most versitile engine it can get, and U3 should fit the build.
The question, then is what game to choose that uses U3. There will be U2007 ofcourse but there will also be
BIA HH. Although U2007 will have vehicles, therefore implementation of them will be much easier, BIA HH has many interesting features, namely realistic, real world locations (i have waited 6 years for nice green fields, hedges on open maps in Western Europe and i am still waiting - British country side could be and is the best place to kill each on it) and use of placing camara in 3rd person body, combined with from what the pictures show, wonderfull animation.
E.g:

- there is something so alive and real about it the it, the grit and dirt and animation (done for you cos i know PR prob with animators), a thousand times more than U2007.
I would like PR to use the U3 used in the yet released game; Brother in Arms Hells Highway becuase of its allready high level of realism.
But becuase the inclusions of both ground and air vehicles is vital, and IF its implamentation in BIAHH is impossible, i will gladely see the use of U2007 or any similar U3 based game.

I think I know what engine the devs have looked at as a possibility.
It can handle way more than 64 online human players.
PM me for details.

Ok, fisrt of all.
BiA (any of them) use AI in the squad. That way they will follow your orders no matter what. they use cover properly and behave like a squad.
You want to see this online? Forget abou'r'it!
Realism is good in that game because your squad members are AI.
Some guys (don't know why) just seem to find it hard to follow orders.

ok lol I was thinking it was an engine or something of that sort, cause I pretty much couldn't think of a game by that name haha
Also I wonder what the minimum specs your computer will need to play FFOW... hopefully not as much as RBSV, cause I'll hafta upgrade my computer... I don't wanna spend the money

UE2.5 played really well on a 6600GT, 1g RAM 3.2Pentium4. With everything full, except HDR or whatever.
Thats what I like about the Unreal engines, is that it looks good on a decent system, and even better on a master system

It's buggy as hell but I dunno if it's the engine or the game (So I've heard).
Theoretically when U3 comes out would you guys be able to build a PR game from scratch? Or would that be a majorly expensive and time consuming pain in the arse, I assume you have to pay for rights and stuff as well as half deveote your life to it...
I'd fund you anyway, my coppers containers nearly full

just did a quick google search.
I've seen prices from 800,000 to 40,000,000.
Whichever price is right, it's certainly VERY VERY expensive I'd imagine.

Kidneys my son, Kidneys are the way!
With a fan base of possibly over 1 thousand and with kidneys going for over 5000 sterling, i dont see why we cant
raise the required sums in a matter of a year or so.
SO, what the hell are you people waiting for, to the IRAN, IRAN, IRAN.....t
he land where the kiddney never does not sell!!!!!!
