That to me constitues a ban. Its the same as taking a Tiger in Forgotten Hope, driving it to the Allied base, and then teamswitching to get the Tiger. Cheap tactic if you ask me.

I would have to say that this would deserve a ban IF there are numerous complaints about it and it is ruining the game experience of a lot of players, which it sounds like it is.

If you hack but it doesn't affect many player because you suck so much you can only manage 5 kills in the round even with cheats, is that still not ban-worthy?

Dont see how thats relevant. This guy wasnt hacking. But yes, it is.

I think the way to solve this would be to completely remove the Anti-Air request from Al Basrah, since there are no opposing aircraft there is no reason why the USMC would be using one.. maybe assemble another useful kit, or just none, but I'm sure the dev's are on top of things like this..

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was trying to demonstrate that cheating is wrong and punishable, no matter how many people are affected by it.

*TA* Snyper_Jesus is one of the few people I can say by name who teamswitch to USMC on Al Basrah.

When the losing team is down to around 40 tickets he goes to the insurgents, plays for five minutes, gets switched when the round ends.

I don't get how these people are switching. I mean, if you click the other faction, nothing happens.

agree with wasteland.. and I understood it completely.

*edit* (i keep having to edit because the forum moves so fast!)

I'm not sure why Smitty4212 brought up team switching in this thread?? other than *TA* clan being mentioned? they aren't team switching to supply stingers..? a buddy takes the stinger to a desired meet-up location and drops the stinger kit, maybe suicides and the kit is left there? maybe then he team switches back to Insurgents?

Yes, I suppose it is an exploit of sorts, but it requires quite a bit of work to convince someone to do it, and it is very difficult to detect.

Yes, difficult to detect. But that doesn't mean it should be allowed, does it?

I imagine sniper serial killers would be hard to detect...

errr hello? Its Devfile 24/7 Al Basra isn’t it? You guys get hot and bothered about this? Now I can understand if this had occurred in Al Basra on some other server but…. really... you guys are prepared to swear on a bible you play s e r i o u s on Devfile? I don’t even look at the team score on this server, its just a fun map on a fun server. Man you thrillsuckers need to lighten up and losen your sphincter muscles before you get a hernia or brain bleed.

It sure sounds a hell of a lot cooler.

If you are in a squad and then get teamswitched is it ok to hunt down your old squad again? and take out their rally point?

I think so, just as i think it's ok to get US kits handed to insurgents via iside help.

Thats reality i suppose.

Man, people like yourself who can't express a point without insulting others are the ones that need to lighten up IMHO.

Here's the rundown: I was playing in a squad in Devfile the other night as Insurgent. A squad member mentions that he can get us the USMC anti-air weapon. SL is inquiring how this is possible, and the guy says "You just need a buddy on the other team to help you".

Anyway, sure enough, 5 minutes later the guy has a USMC anti-air kit and is knocking the heck out of the A-10's and Cobra's.

Is this something that server admins want to hear about? OR is it something that cannot really be enforced anyway, so no point reporting.... :-?
Those Damn insurgents infiltrating thge ranks.....b astards
