You don't do it for the points, you do it because it's the right thing to do. As for Semi, just accept the fact that the devs will be putting in civilians in the later versions of PR. We'll see how it plays out...

Damn... I would LOVE to be a paramedic and run around in my ambulance healing both team !

Define "this"

If you think I'm complaining about this only because of realism, then you have missed my point.
Civillians jumping infront of cars, tanks, etc.
Civillians jumping infront of gunfire
Civillians surrounding tanks.

Don't take the piss again.

In closing I'd like to say that I'm relieved that the devs rather spend their
time on "doomed to fail" content, rather than on content which may actually work. Keep up the good work!
Having played the game since earlier versions, I'm fairly confident that the devs have a pretty good handle on what's stupid, and what would actually work. I really doubt they'd allow 30 civ's running around wild. Don't be an ***. You no like, you no play. Done.

Most civilians aren't suicidal.
They won't deliberately try to get themselves run over or jump in front of gunfire.
And any civilian close to a tank or military vehicle would most likely be seen as a combatant, and then killed from that point on.

The threat of civilians are impossible to replicate in the game, so what's the point in even trying?

That looks cool but, the ambulance would get blown off the road.

Civilians = 1.5 minute spawn time = Not suicidal.

I'd say that when a civilian medic revives an opponent, he should get a small amount of tickets added to the insurgents counter. Will balance out the fact that you are actually reviving your enemies......

Ya but the citz team should have these kits:
1) Paramedic-Shock pads, Medic pack, Hospital.
2) Police-Pistol, Shotgun, Handcuffs(cant use guns when on), Police Station.
3) Citizen- Knife, Keys House( they can go in a building with keys).
4) Worker-Knife, Shovel, Construction equitment.
5) Fishermen-Knife, dart launcher, food(medical)
With these kits they can do differnet things like a police officer can stop the citz and workers from getting in the way of war to much by killing them and no TKs. the workers maybe cdan build walls that can be run over by tanks or killed buy C4.

'[R-CON wrote:soraflair']Interesting, this would add a new dynamic to the game, although didn't someone already model a van?
I think someone did to. Check in the modding forum I know someone made a tranny-van, just slap a big red cross on it and you are set. You could ,perhaps, get rid of the insurgent medic and replace the kit with and Insurgent with an AK and a grenade instead of having two with molotov cocktails. Then you could make the civilian medic a limited kit so that they could run around in the Ambulance healing people. I think that sounds like fun to me.

Also, if you do decide to do this make sure the only people who could drive the Ambulance would be the Civilian Medics.

That's a good idea. Get rid of the insurgent medic altogether as I highly doubt there are any insurgent medics running around in Iraq. The local ambulance and hospitals pick up the wounded insurgents. This would simulate that pretty nicely. Just have to make it worthwhile for someone to play the kit.

Either way its a horrible idea, I hope you change your mind.

While you're at it, answer my question on what it will add to the game.

this isnt a bad idea, and only the civ. medic kit can drive them. and they heal fast if you go to the back or something or they like have to get in to simulate being operated on or similiar

and the thing would have lights and sirens so people know 1 not to tk and 2 its a revive station or somethin

So why would USMC arrest the Civilian Medics?
(I completely forgot about the knife/arrest)
